Hotel Mercurio - Gay Friendly

It's a small hotel. Rustic, comfortable. It is not a resort however, if that is what you are looking for. The hotel is a mere block and 1/2 from the beach. What it lacked in scenery, it more than made up in the quality and friendliness of the staff. Because it is cozier than a normal hotel, we easily made friends with the other guests. It was a good experience overall. Even the food they made was above par! Everything was easily in walking distance and what is not can be accessed by extremely inexpensive Uber trips.

Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful at all times. What I love most around this property is that is like being home and they are family. The environment is friendly and the breakfast is delicious.

David was wonderful. The free breakfast was excellent The owner, Paul, was very friendly. Loved the Sunday afternoon party.

Pool was cold and because of size no place to lay and relax around the pool

This is a small sweet hotel located perfectly near the beach in the center of zona romantica. i thought the rooms would be better for this price but they are still really OK. breakfast is VERY nice. the place is sometimes loud - did not really bother me 95% of the time - but if you like quiet places this is not one. The staff is nice and the atmosphere is great. there are also shows and little parties. wifi / AC / hot water etc - were all pretty good. All and all it's a sweet place.

The room is not too exciting - but it's OK.

THERE is not enough room here to write all the praises I have for the hotel. From Josel when I arrived, to David (SUPER) waiter, Jose, Briam also GREAT waiters and Jorge the bartender and lovely Monica also at the reception desk. SIMPLY A DREAM VACATION and PROPERTY. FOOD was great especially the free breakfast. IF you ever want to be PAMPERED then HOTEL MERCURIO SHOUD be your first and ONLY CHOICE.

DID have a noisy adjacent room but I could tolerate him.

The staff were amazing and friendly. Luis C. And Israel were so helpful. The kitchen staff made great food. I liked being by the pool early in the morning reading and relaxing. The Drag brunch was great entertainment. Location is amazing! I have already rebooked

The bed was hard! I would have liked a more comfortable sleeping situation. Better quality linens and pillows. I would have liked an iron to press my clothes.

Everything was great. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The location is one of the best in PV for Gay Life. Having the breakfast included each day was great with plenty of choices

The location couldn’t be beat. Right in the middle of area restaurants and shops and a very short walk to Playa Las Muertos. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The room was immaculate although contrary to older reviews, the king size rooms do NOT have a kitchenette, only an extra sink where there once was one.

The noise and music from the bar and neighborhood went until past my bedtime every night. Keeping the windows closed helped. No real views from the room except of the inner courtyard/pool. The authentic Mexican breakfast stews weren’t to my liking. If I ever return, I’d just order straightforward things like scrambled eggs and bacon.

Location of this hotel was fantastic. The staff went out of their way to help and assist and were super friendly. While basic and possibly a little dated the rooms were comfortable and clean. I would happily return here again.

Very friendly staff, perfect location, awesome breakfast, comfortable bed, clean and quaint room with airco, fridge, tv and safe, beach towels available at reception, welcome drink at pool bar.

Room wasn't particularly quiet or dark, WiFi signal was a bit weak in my room (but perfect e.g. at reception or the pool bar), hot water reached a while to get to shower.
