This is a wonderful family run hotel with a pool. One street back from Lake which means it's nice & quiet but near everything. Staff & owners are super friendly, units have fridge & cooking facilities, coffee, sugar, oil etc so everything you need if you want to cook. Bathroom has lovely body wash & shampoo which is a nice touch. Also endless supply of filtered water, they have thought of everything. Pool is clean & refreshing. Room is super clean. Nicest place I've stayed in 5 months of travels & I also got an upgrade unexpectedly but really nice surprise especially as a solo traveller. Absolutely recommend this place. Wish I was staying longer.

The property is conveniently located about one block from the lagoon and about two blocks from the town’s central plaza. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance. If you arrive on the ADO bus, take a taxi to get to the hotel. You can walk, but it’s hot and far. The staff is very accommodating and arranged for my departure taxi to Chetumal to pick me up at 7 in the morning. They also gave me a map of the town.

The only thing the hotel lacks is a view of the lagoon. But you can walk to a nearby restaurant that has one in minutes.

Everything!! This place is just perfect. After a 5 hour bus journey arriving here to the warmest welcome was just perfect. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed and more! Air con, fan, WiFi, a massive fridge, water (!) And filter coffee (!). Less then 10 minute walk from the bus station, 5 to the lagoon and less than 10 minutes walk to the main square, the location is perfect. Lovely quiet pool area. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. This place is genuinely as Oasis. I could not recommend it higher!

We really enjoyed our stay in bacalar! The apartment had everything we needed (including free water, coffee) and was very clean and quite big. Steven, the owner of the Hotel was very kind, friendly and always helpful. If you travel to bacalar we can totally recommend to stay here! The beautiful laguna and city center is near by and you can relax at the pool if you need a rest. If you come to Bacalar stay longer than 2 nights, that was our only mistake :) Thank you for your hospitality, Steven! We really appreciate it :) Peter & Julia

Perfect location - quick walk to main square of this truly magical town. Greeted upon arrival with genuine warmth by the owner (Stephen) and his lovely staff. Beautiful smiles from everyone! Room was perfect, down to the smallest detail. Really appreciated the huge water jug, real coffee maker with plenty of real coffee, cream and sugar. So, so peaceful with the soothing sounds of chickens, a turkey, and even the cooing of a peacock from the neighbor's yard! Thank you for this amazing experience!

Our room/apartment was clean, spacious, had a great kitchen with an island, two toilets, quiet air-con, with terrace, a lovely pool and garden. Great location with a few minutes walk from restaurants, beach club, ATM or centre. We had a bedroom with king size bed and living space with a queen size and single size bed. Perfect for a family of four or three plus grandma! Can fit even family with three little children. Wifi worked great! Very friendly and helpful owner and stuff! Highly recommend!

We loved the location, the room, the cleanliness, the pool and the staff and their recommendations.

The WiFi didn’t work well at night. We have a streaming service and it was buffering the site. The hotel said they might be having a router problem and that we could sit by the pool and pick up from the reception router. That didn’t work either and our streaming service tried to help but they said everything on their end was working fine. When we returned to our apartment in Tulum it works great again.

staff really nice, excellent location and loved the pool. we had a suite which is an excellent spacious choice for a family The garden is very tranquil and well kept, it is a little oasis of calm near the centre of the town. Communcation between Oasis and myself was excellent right from the start.

What about putting a communal washing line up in a discrete sunny spot.?

Love the fresh and windy design with eco micro climates that separates the suites, lots of trees and plants make it very private so nice to see/hear all the birds and funny squirrels It is so close to everything in town restaurants bars just one block from the lake

Great space to stay in Bacalar. After a dreadful night stay in a different hotel we booked Oasis as an emergency for the rest of our stay. And it was a world different! Super super friendly and helpful staff, a great apartment with loads of space, good Aircon and well stocked kitchen. Loved our stay here

Only thing is the pool is not very big so not suitable for swimming unless with children
