We were in the Junior Suite and requested to pay to upgrade to the Privilege package. We were rudely told "No". Please advise customers when booking if they cannot have the Privilege package. A bit disappointing when we had travelled over 20 hours from Australia for our first trip to Mexico. We felt like we were treated differently at times for not being "Privilege". It would be great to have the option of wristbands with a chip coded to your room instead of physical keys. Also the ability to make reservations from your room would be an improvement. We could not have the digital key option as we did not have American numbers. Please consider that people from all around the world chose to stay here.

it’s was a very beautiful location, quiet, peaceful great getaway…

The main complaint was the pool closes too early at 7/8pm…… as if adults have a curfew your forced to go to the main hall if you want to continue enjoy the evening. They do have music and bar area but some don’t want that and there is nothing else to do other than go to your room. Several of our friends wanted to just relax at the pool late and enjoy the view and weather, all bars outdoors close by 8pm. There was also too much seaweed, we were not able to enjoy the beach the 4 days we were there.

The resort workers are the best. Everybody is friendly, and they go out of their way to accommodate you.

The resort is starting to show age, dirty and worn lounge chairs near pool area. Room bathrooms are the same.

The food was incredible, there were so many options and we were impressed alcoholic beverages were included. We loved all of the entertainment and activities provided at the resort. The atmosphere was really enjoyable it never felt overcrowded. The resort was incredibly beautiful. We enjoyed every moment of our trip.

Not all of the dining options had areas with A/C which was a little difficult at times since we went during the hottest part of the year.

Let me start off by saying that we arrived two days after Hurricane Zeta. You would have never known as the groundskeepers keep this property spotless! The beach was closed and the weather was rainy and yet - we had an incredible vacation! We stayed in 6303 in a Golden Superior Suite and enjoyed every minute. We wanted to mention some of the staff who went above and beyond to make our visit so special. Concierge: Rosario - most wonderful Concierge EVER!!! She is at building 6 and was so incredibly helpful. She couldn’t do enough. She’s always there with a wave and a smile! She’s simply amazing! She remembered us from last year (hope that’s a good thing!). Waiters: Luis at Le Marche’ has waited on us for years and always remembers our preferences, greets us kindly and consistently goes above and beyond. We ate at Le Marche’ for breakfast and lunch because their staff was so wonderful! Angeleno was also fabulous! Neome was awesome - always checking in! Best staff hands down! L’Olivo: The manager at this restaurant is outstanding! He’s always checking in and is very accommodating - he remembered us from previous visits. Alejandro waited on us twice and did an exceptional job! We ordered chicken Parmesan which wasn’t even on the menu and it was absolutely delicious! Ginger: We also love the manager here as he goes out of his way to make sure that all of your needs are met. He’s friendly, engaging and extremely accommodating. We enjoyed our hibachi chef Jose’ - who was not only funny but gave us a much needed Spanish lesson. He was wonderful in every way! Go Team: I can’t say enough about Lorenzo who always makes our experience so memorable. He’s as warm as he is entertaining. He makes sure that everyone feels included and engages the entire crowd in all of the fun! We couldn’t love him more! The Valentin experience wouldn’t be the same without Lorenzo! Jesus from the Go Team is also quite entertaining - very funny guy! The Imperial Band makes our evenings!

The food and amenities were fantastic. Room was clean, loved the turn down service. Always had the refrigerator stocked with what we needed. Restaurants were great! Property is beautiful. REally loved almost everything about this place!

The drinks were not good - the only place we seemed to have a decent drink was a Don Miguel’s. And the pool bars. The bed was a little too hard but still comfortable. We loved the band and DJ at night; only thing is that it seemed the same songs and music repeated every night.

It’s just beautiful. Paradise in the middle of the jungle. The staff is very accommodating. if on the beach you want Beatrix to wait on you. shhe goes above and beyond the call of duty to help you.

It would be nice if some of the buildings facing the beach would accommodate families. I love my sister but prefer separate beds which means we are limited on what rooms we can have.

The staff are amazing! Welcoming, professional, helpful.....cannot complement them enough. Food is great - lots of variety with theme restaurants - Italian, French, Indonesian, Surf/Turf, Mexican and more. The grounds are impeccably maintained and spacious.

Food is great with lots of variety. The staffs are very friendly and professional. Pools and beach access are easy, chairs and towels are plenty. They offer currency exchange right in the resort.

We specifically asked to have two full beds, but got a king size bed instead. The check out process takes a while. We were told we could check out the night before but the front receptionist said no. We had to check out in the morning, causing some delay to the airport.

cannot swim in the sea, high waves and tones of sea weeds. the color of the sea water is not Turquoise! Although explained on admission that no need to reserve at the speciality restaurants in the evening, it turned out that you should (especially the Japanese). The waiting time to receive a table was too long.
