Hacienda Morelos Beachfront Hotel

I liked that we were right on the beach with a beachfront view with balcony for a very affordable price. we were also central to the town and everything was a short walk. I also learned it’s very easy to use my credit card for purchases rather than converting pesos to USD. we went on 3 excursions as well because it was much cheaper than what the all inclusive resorts offer. I felt very safe at all times.

the beds were hard as were the pillows. if you didn’t get downstairs early enough the coffee would be gone and I had trouble finding black coffee elsewhere. seems like silly little things. there was so much to like

The view out our window was breathtaking! Such a beautiful view of the ocean! So nice to hear the waves through the night. The man at the check in was very friendly and helpful! Really enjoyed the restaurant on site! Live singers coming around playing banjo and instruments add each table. Very fun vibe! Restaurants, Shops grocery stores all within easy walking distance. Close to the main square as well. Lovely pool. And right on the beach.

Not much parking available on site. We had to park a few blocks away. The area around the hotel is quite congested. Beds were OK but pillows were very poor. Music from restaurants nearby still going strong at midnight. Overall a very fun party vibe around this place but music late at night made sleep a little difficult.

We are scuba divers and their is an excellent dive ship attached to the hotel, "OM Delfin". The guest rooms are large, two double beds, and cleaned daily. There is was a safe. Air Conditioning worked well. Nice large shower. The pool and beach areas are great! There are lounge chairs available at both pool and beach areas. Beach towels are provided for the week (but must leave a deposit, the deposit is refunded when you return the towels). Staff superb! There is a restaurant beside the hotel, Muelle Once, Outstanding food! In short walking distance to a large grocery store, pharmacy, little souvenir shops, money exchange, the town square, many small restaurants in the area. Everything is here!

The TV's are on the smaller side so from the bed is bit hard to see well. There is also a dance place (or bar) across the street and that can get noisy late at night (so take ear plugs if this would bother you). I was usually so tired at night I'd doze off anyhow so it does not deter my feelings about this property. No refrigerator in the room.

The staff were amazing and kind and helpful. The room was very clean. I Like the location---close enough to town but not right in the center. Great place to stay!

This is something they can not control---the addition of a karoke club across the street. Partying goes on to 1-2 am. Perhaps more insulation around the doors. I am not really sure if there is anything that can be done. Also, confusion over pricing and how the rates compare to where your room is located. My opinion is that the first floor by the pool should be the premium, the second floor deluxe, the third floor, basic. First and second floor should not be priced the same. Also, refrigerators/coffee pots in every room except the third floor.

The beachfront location, the balcony, the pool, the secure gated parking, the friendly staff. Room was nice and large, clean.

The bed was pretty uncomfortable, very firm, not good for side sleepers. We like to sleep with the windows open and listen to the ocean, which was interrupted 2 of 4 nights by drunk loud neighbors on their balconies. Not the hotels fault, people are just often rude. Just one weird incident I will put on the hotel....After being told the front desk was open 24 hours, one evening we came back from a restaurant at 11:30 and no one was there so we had to climb over the parking gate to get into the property. It was pretty funny but could have been a real problem for the elderly or those who couldn't climb.

My room location was perfect. Ocean view. Back door straight to pool, sea and restaurant.Restaurant served very good food. Bed was fairly comfortable with clean, fresh linens. Surprised to have hot water in shower. Bathroom and entire room was clean. Clean towels. Very nice market across the street with fresh bakery, sushi , hand dipped ice cream and Mexican food being prepared. Bar staff served drinks and appetizers by sea and pool. Local restaurants with good food within walking distance. I was a woman traveling solo and felt very safe in motel and walking in town.

I wish the restaurant served breakfast. It was noisy at night due to town music but not within their control. I struggled communicating with staff as most knew no English but that’s on me. I need to learn Español before my next vacation. Seaweed was excessive for this time of year but they worked hard to clear it by hand.

awesome location, great private beach at the end of the strip. no other hotels in the area. the beach is yours. lots of loungers on the beach. pool was great not crowded. all rooms have either a view, a balcony, or poolside. rooms were simple but clean. make sure you get a fridge. the big supermarket is right across the road which has everything and good prices.

it was pretty good. coffee in the lobby was a bit sporadic. not about the hotel, but we were surprised with the prices of food in the “portside” of puerto. most entrees are $200+. not the end of the world but there aren’t many cheap options. great hotel we will be back

Great location, the dive shop Om Delfin being associated with the hotel is a bonus and the ocean view is gorgeous. Staff are friendly, owner very helpful, and it's fun to be right in the centre of town

It would be absolutely great if each room had a small fridge to keep drinks cool... and one heads up for those wanting to go diving early each day: there is a kind of karaoke bar across the street that goes until 1 or 2 am so it can be a bit disruptive for early risers

The location is excellent - close to lots of restaurants, shops, and across the street from a grocery. The pool is lovely and the hotel is beachfront. There is A/C in the room and a watercooler to refill waterbottles in the lobby.

The beds were not the most comfortable. We had 2 full beds in our room. One was very very firm. the other was a better, so we slept there. Everything else about the stay was great.

LOCATION! Has its own beach!!!; there’s a restaurant on the premises AND a diving/snorkeling; 1 minutes walking from a big supermarket and 2 from the main square! Big plus: I had a massive room with a balcony with view on the sea… priceless!

There’s no breakfast even though (two days before leaving) I found out they do have a pot of coffee for the guests, and sometimes even some little pastry.
