Niik Tulum

I stayed in one of deluxe king rooms and it was super spacious with a sitting area and large fridge. The property was pretty quiet with not a lot of construction happening in the immediate area. Its location is super central in Aldea Zama and many restaurants were right out the door.

For that large of a room, it could have used a desk. The wifi is not strong enough to carry meetings but there is a nice co-working space nearby with really strong wifi. The couch was a bit uncomfortable but the bed was comfy. The area can be a bit dark so make sure to carry a little light with you.

Fancy new hotel. Clean, open rooms with a fridge. Big TV. We booked two nights separately and had to change rooms. They moved our suitcases so I didn't have to drag them up 3 floors. Walking to the center is possible, but some areas are not lit well. Need to use the torch on your phone.

The restaurant at the hotel is over priced. Our pizza didn't have half of the ingredients stated on the menu. When we said something about it he went down to the kitchen, ditched some on it and gave the same, now colder, pizza back. My mojito barely had alcohol. Upon receiving the check we were immediately reminded tips are not included. There's a lot of thrash in the area. I don't understand why these fancy hotels don't fix that collectively. Same with a decent pathway with light to the center. Nice hotel overall, but I'd skip Tulum and go to better places in Mexico..

Hotel was in a really good location, looked really nice and cosy. I loved the outdoor area outside my room. It was my perfect place to relax and it even had a phone charger close by. I had the biggest bed I've ever seen, could probably fit 5 people in one and the room was really big too. The hotel has a small pool as well. I really appreciated the fact that someone was at the reception at any hour and they could call a taxi very quickly (which is very important for the area and for Tulum in general).

Mosquitoes were a real issue. I think it would be amazing if the rooms had mosquito nets installed.

The property is in a new development (Zama) so everything looks fairly new, with new places coming. We chose the master suite room which was aesthetically pleasing. The room was on its own side of the hotel and offered a nice big balcony, large bathroom and open suite. Amenities were nice as the hotel offered a pool, bikes to rent, and a bar/restaurant. this is my first time in Tulum so I was not aware on how close a beach was. we used a taxi to get to the beach clubs which was about 30-35 one way. something to consider if you stay here overall great price for a weekend in Tulum.

Complaints are simple. The room is not well vented so it is very humid. The air condition is a wall unit which was not on before we arrived. There is a microwave and fridge in the room but both were unplugged leaving a very distinct smell when you opened them. while the balcony is nice, it does not drain well. it rained one night and the balancing had 2 inches of water the next morning.

From the moment I arrived at check in to leaving, everything went smoothly and everyone was helpful. At check in Fonsi was at reception - he is super friendly, easy to talk to and knows a lot about the area. My room was serviced every day without asking. The pasta I tried at the restaurant was delicious and so was a frozen strawberry daiquiri.

The bikes you can rent through the hotel are good for shorter distances. Rent a bike in the centre for longer distances.

property seems to b new or newly renovated breakfast was good , but staff doesn’t speak English .. even tho I had my Google translator open up , got the wrong order . so 4 day stay I just had one day breakfast at the hotel. had two small kids for them it was perfect … a small playground infront of the hotel and even 5 min walk is another playground for kids .

the wifi didn’t work 3 nights in the room . They said some technicians will come and fix it and unfortunately the last day it really worked. Like making up plans for tours or exploring without internet wasnt working and sitting with the kids outside or were reception is , wasnt good as they ran around and I had to look after them. location wise I wasn’t able to do much on walking distance …

Although the hotel is not located in Tulum, it's very close and in a beautiful area/neighborhood. The pool and the playground are convenient for small children. The restaurant is just across the rooms, and the hammocks are relaxing!

I did not reserve the room with breakfast included, and when we got there, the person at the front desk told me that I had to include the breakfast during the reservation to get the discount price.

Room and staff was great. Fonsi, specifically from the moment we entered and left was very hospitable. His service was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond! We would go back to Niik, just for his wonderful service that made our trip easier and convenient. He cares so much about his guests and the hotel.

Our stay was absolutely great and we enjoyed every minute of it. The area was nice and clean with few nice restaurants nearby. The room was clean, quiet and spacious with comfy beds and AC. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They helped us with transport from airport, bike rental and a Chitzen Itza tour. Me and my parents felt safe and welcomed. Thank you!!

I wouldn't recommend booking the tours through them, but it's more negative towards the tour company EasyTours than the hotel. We basically didn't fully get what we paid for and the tour company customer service was poorly. Aldea Zama is very much in a developing stage, so expect a lot of construction, luckily there was no construction going on close to the hotel. Also expect taking a lot of taxis or bike rides if you want experience nightlife, beach and have more options for eating out.
