Best Western Plus Hotel Amstelveen

I was in Amsterdam on business. I really appreciated the great Wi-Fi and how quiet the room was. The entire hotel was modern with modern amenities. The hotel was near tram 25 which worked well for where I needed to go to work (Amsterdam Zuid area). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Cost was reasonable. It was all in all perfect for my needs, and I would recommend to anyone traveling on business.

There could be more options at breakfast, especially for those with other dietary needs (eg, lactose intolerance). I think if you were traveling to Amsterdam as a tourist, it is a bit far from the city center (about an hour by public transit).

Booked hotel due to cancelled flight ,arrived half an hour after booking . Young man on reception friendly and helpful ,which was welcome after horrible day at airport.Nice big room ,large bathroom with walk in shower ,bath and shower and two sinks . Breakfast was good but could have been hotter. Friendly lady on duty . Evening meal was very good ,with friendly staff .

Area of hotel not the best as nothing in walking distance to fill day in .Booked taxi to a shopping centre but very difficult to get taxi back .

A modern hotel and comfortable with car parking on site. The room was comfortable but the "wet room" bathroom was a little clinical. One drove through leafy suburbs on the approach to the hotel and then plunged into an industrial estate on which the hotel was located. The location was practical and easy to find but not a location where one could sit in a garden and enjoy a drink.

The plumbing for the "wet room" bathroom as the outflow for the shower water was inadequate and the room was soon awash.

The room was very comfortable - a nice bed, which offered a good night's sleep, and the neighbourhood was pretty quiet so we weren't kept awake by any noise. The staff were friendly and helped us get our tram into Amsterdam, and there was free parking outside the hotel.

When we first arrived, there was a weird smell in the bathroom - but it was also 33 degrees outside and the smell subsided when the temperature dropped later. The hotel seems to be in a kind of industrial estate area, so not the most attractive location. Breakfast was OK, but I would definitely say not worth the price if you're in any way vegetarian or trying to avoid gluten..!

The hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable and relatively spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is connected to Amsterdam Zuid station by tram, i.e. it's conveniently located when having things to do in Amstelveen or Amsterdam Zuid. Otherwise a bit far off.

It's a bit far outside Amsterdam and located in an industrial area (surrounded by car dealers and car garages etc.). No restaurants or shops in direct vicinity. Therefore I consider it more suited as a practical option, if one has things to do in the area, not so much for tourism.

The room was very large, clean and confortable. The hotel is very nice and clean. The breakfast was good. Location is a bit far from Amsterdam but we arrived there by car, so it was ok. There is a tram going from the hotel area (station at 10 min walking distance) to the city (at Zuid metro station) and we bought a 2 days transport pass, so it was convenient.

Near to tram line,quiet area,free parking,lovely staff The reception staff were fantastic always willing to help and going that extra mile to sort problems out.

Ash trays at the front of the hotel could have been emptied more regularly And a little more attention at breakfast from staff as things did run out and clearing of tables could have been faster and a little bit more thorough

It was a nice clean hotel with really nice 3 layers beds. Perfect for a tall guy The rooms was big and very quiet. Even though the hotel was located in a industrial area it was quiet. Parkering was easy and free, but with option to park in the basement for a additional fee. Public transportation was really easy, just around the corner a 5 min walk.

Very nice hotel facilities, Very clean Hotel overall, Very polite & professional staff members, Very reasonable value for money. Hotel rooms are very spacious with plenty of room if you have alot of luggage with you.

Will require a Taxi or Uber to transport you to the airport and back as direct routes to Airport via other public transport are not really that avaliable.

I came for a funeral and met my friends at your hotel. Room was clean, neat and had everything I needed. Airport, was clean, well signposted and easy to use Breakfast had all I needed and more. We ate in Restaurant one evening and it was very nice, Thankyou.

Soap dispensers very hard to squeeze? No instructions for coffee maker! TV would only show one channel.
