Never having been to a spa/wellness before we booked the Junior Suite which included spa access. The room was really spacious, it had a big bath, good quality bed and the best shower I've had in my life. The location of the spa/hotel was secluded in the forest, with only a tennis court nearby, away from all the noise. I liked the 15+ different saunas with different features and temperatures, being new to saunas this was the best way to experience them. The pool was slightly heated allowing you to relax in the pool outside even if outside was cold. There were sunbeds outside and relaxing beds inside so we even got a little tan. Lastly I really liked the fact that you're not allowed to bring your phone to the spa area, forcing you to relax and "unwind". Overal I had a great experience and will for sure be coming back.

Having booked a hotel room we kind of assumed we were allowed to use the facilities for both days. This was not the case and by exception we were only allowed to use the gym before our check out time (11am). We also thought the food was quite expensive (4,50 for a tea, 7,50 for a juice, 15 for starters) and as this was the only place to get food nearby we didn't have much choice.

The SPA is simply amazing, I hardly believe there is something else like this. Being naked is super natural and everyone behave perfectly. The hotel is in a park, close to a lake and surrounded by trees and nature. Bed was very comfortable and the shower is spacious and wonderful. We also had a massage which we really appreciated.

Breakfast is just fine. The room was at the ground floor, too close to the hotel passage. The position is not great, we had to reach the train/tram station either walking for 15/20 mins or renting an electric scooter (3 mins), and then it's about 20 mins to reach the center. There's no fridge in the room.

The spa and saunas were incredible. The hours for the wellness center are very accommodating (10:30AM to 10:30PM) and were included with every night that we stayed. The food was excellent and the room was very clean and comfortable.

If you are staying over on a holiday and plan on visiting the city centre of Amsterdam, definitely rent bikes if only just to get to and from the tram / train lines. Its a 15-25 minute walk in either direction which can really take a toll if you're already planning on a day of travel-heavy sightseeing.

Everything was great. The facilities, the cleanless, the staff at the reception and the room.

The breakfast could be better with fresh cakes, omelette and more selection of fruits. The staff at the restaurant was not really friendly like annoyed that I was making an order telling me to wait in the garden and don' t come in the sitting aerea.

I love the spa facilities here and it's awesome that you can use the gym and book on the exercise classes if you're staying at the hotel.

I paid for an upgraded "premium" room and to be honest it probably wasn't worth the extra money. It was in a separate building so you had to leave the main hotel / spa building and walk across the car park to access it; in your bath robe if you'd just come from the spa. It wasn't much bigger than the standard rooms and the only other plus I could see was a a free "mini bar" ( which contained 2 coke zeros and 2 orange juices)

Spa was really really.good. fantastic facilities. Although read notes about which days are swimwear and which are not. The staff are super friendly both reception and in the spa. The y catered for gluten free. Menus are not marked but they have gluten free bread and food is freshly.made so chefs can and will.adapt most.iyems on the menu. Locations is nice area a few new.from.city.centre and 10min walk to nearest bus stop with services every 15mins. Towels and bathrobes provided but flip flops are not. Bring your own to avoid needing to buy them. Breakfast was good although range of items slightly.less than some similar priced hotels. Again gluten free bread available but advisable.to.let.recieption know in advance.to speed it up. We went in late August Fri to Monday and it was not busy or crowded. No phones or tablets in spa, which is actually.good policy, helps.time.to unwind.

Not much! Service at breakfast was slow on last.day.

A spacious hotel room just out of the centre of Amsterdam which proved to be a blessing. Large room, comfy beds , good breakfast, great shower as well as a wellness centre attached to the hotel. Easy bus, tram and metro into the CBD. Next to parkland for a walk or a cycle. Staff very helpful. The distance from the CBD was not a problem compared to the expensive “ shoebox” hotel rooms closer to town.

Not many dining places within the hotel vicinity. Restaurant de Veranda was a 5 min walk and was exceptional but that was it. We arrived at 9.30 pm to find that dining options in the neighbourhood had closed so,plan ahead if you have a late arrival time.

I have been visiting this hotel for many years and have a thoroughly good experience on each occasion. I had a few issues , which were resolved promptly prior to arrival, which I was very appreciative off. The facilities are clean, beautiful and well maintained. The restaurant food is delicious. The staff are amazing, courteous, helpful, jolly and professional. There are quite a few rituals scheduled throughout the day which are good to partake in. Overall, a lovely place to spend some time rejuvenating, the beauty spa and treatments are also very good as are the classes and the gym facilities. The surroundings are beautiful and you can hire a bike to go cycling into the countryside, in warmer weather.

The rooms in the hotel although painted need some updating, the carpets are stained, and the beds are very strange, you are sleeping on a thin mattress topper. It is comfortable, but I think that for a hotel of this nature the beds should be of better quality. I would like to see healthier options at breakfast like porridge and more fresh fruit, someone should also monitor closely when items run out, for example breakfast items, cups, bowls etc. The tables should be cleared quickly as well, especially during peak times.
