The hotel was a 15-20 minute taxi journey from the Airport and cost in the region of £40 for a party of 6. The food in the restaurant was lovely and reasonably priced (the ribs were delicious!), and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the pub and restaurant at the weekend was very vibrant and its clearly a regular haunt for locals in the area. The pub closed promptly at night time and there were no issues with people leaving the premises. The area was really nice too and had some lovely surrounding shops, and the bus stop into Amsterdam was only a 10-15 minute walk away.

Though we knew there would be some noise, the music from the pub below was extremely loud on the Friday night (until 2am) for those of us in the first floor rooms, though those located on the second floor weren't affected. The noise was slightly quieter on the Saturday, again until 2am, and thankfully quiet on the Sunday, therefore I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone with young families visiting on a weekend. The stairs up to the rooms were quite steep so wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The breakfast was quite basic but reasonable for the price.

The room, the bed and the lights were good. The hotel is much cheaper than its alternatives, and I was skeptical about it first because of the price and the comments I read, expecting a lot of noise from the bar below, but we checked in at Sunday around 11 pm, and it was very quiet. The neighbourhood is lovely.

The bathroom/toilet is shared in the hall. Which wasnt a big problem for us and we didnt run into anyone but if it were a busy day/night, it could've been pretty uncomfortable. The bar is directly below the rooms, and while the time we were there, there wasnt any noise, I can imagine it being more of a nuisance on a busy day.

Cosy and nice place worth the money. There is no lift, hence it was a little difficult lifting the heavy suitcases. That is something to be considered for people who has orthopaedic problems. The best part was that someone was available even.at odd hours to help check-in and check-out. It is located in a very nice locality and if someone like walking and enjoying scenic beauty it is the perfect place. The cafe is totally awesome. Every kind of drink and cocktail was available as well as beer. The food was sumptuous for the money and really tasty. However, if anyone has sleeping problems and needs quiet then beware as the cafe is open till 1 or 2am and there was loud music which reaches the rooms even with all doors and windows closed.

Stayed for 5 nights, The staff were great and made you feel welcome and always on hand to help. All the staff speak very good English and gave such a positive vibe. The atmosphere in the bar / restaurant was great were anyone would speak to you and the food is great at a fair price. Getting from the airport was easy 10 min bus then a 10 min walk so not a problem but well worth it for the money and if you are looking for someone just outside of Amsterdam. Massive shopping centre in Amstelveen 10 min walk right next to the main bus station where you get off the bus from the airport and the buses into Amsterdam. Great place to stay, I really enjoyed it. Again thanks to all the staff!

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a good menu and a good atmosphere like they welcomed visitors. The service and quality was very good. The location and transport links are excellent.

Nothing really. The room had no table, so had to put things on the floor. Even a small shelf would have been good. Not a complaint, just an observation.

I stayed gor one night in the hotel. The employees were very smart and very welcoming. Room and bed were small and clean, convenient for one person. The toilets and bathroom are shared but a sink is available in the room. The service-price ratio was excellent, I will happily come back if I have the opportunity

A pleasantly decorated bar is located on the ground floor. Music and especially bass sounds can sometimes be heard even in the bedroom, which bothered me a little until I fell asleep

The staff was nice and tried to help all the time, there were no problems with them. The food downstairs was nice and with a fair price, The cleanness of the place was really nice, the shower was nice and also the bathroom.

Is was actually far from the closest bus statio, wich made it really hard to arrive the first time with all of my laugage. The room was a little too small, not like the photos and also was really hot at night.

The lady and staff were ever so welcoming, helpful warm and kind. I could have been to the bar downstairs and happily feel at home with a friendly crowd. Very cool neighbourhood, very local traditional commerce (bakery, pleasant pubs and shops) and modern shops (tatoo parlour, beauty saloon..), Abina is the soul of this lovely neighbourhood where even the 12 minutes from the bus to the hotel were a delight: marvellous walk with clean canals. all the flowery front gardens, neighbours very happy to help for directions. The bar and breakfast room were beautifully traditional and breakfast was abundant and very varied . The modern new shower was great! fab pressure and temperature. The room was very comfortable and clean, overlooking the lovely street and bar. Gorgeous stay!

I booked a room with no bathroom facilities , so I had to share the toilet and loo. The loo is not as modern as the shower, but good. It was a hot summer night and I didnt stay over a weekend, but I can see how it could get noisy with a bar downstairs and disco setting. But on a working day, all party downstairs was over by 11.30.

Nice staff, great coffee in the restaurant over. We loved Amsterdam, and the room was completely fulfilling it’s purpose: to offer a bed when tired and sleepy.

Please complain your cleaning company to use more Chlorox for whitening, but really there’s nothing to complain about

Despite the location being a bit farther from the center, it was the most affordable option as we just needed a place to sleep at. The bar downstairs is very lively, definitely captures the Dutch vibe, so that was definitely a plus. The bathroom was very clean-also another plus.

It was quite cold at nights-not sure if they had the heating system on yet or not, but we didn't manage to turn it on. That would be the only "downside", if you could even call it that way.
