There was a global conference in Amsterdam and hotels were coming in at £500 - £3,300. WIM’s place worked. It was about 7 mins from the airport. It was clean. It solved a problem as there were only 4 hotels within a 40 mile radius available. WIM was super polite and genuine. He couldn’t do enough. For me. The location didn’t work and I prefer hotels

Having to wait for someone to use the bathroom before I could. Knowing I was getting a flight.

I found the host very helpful. he will give you all the necessary information for your stay. Everything was well prepared. the neighborhood is residential so very quiet. You will find everything you need in your room: coffee, tea, a fridge with cold drinks. The towels and sheets provided were clean.I asked for an invoice by email because I had forgotten to ask him during my stay. he was very responsive and sent it to me in a few hours It is a perfect accommodation if you want to spend a night 20 minutes walk from the train station. by taking the train you will be in 4 minutes at the airport.

I had to book in two crew members at 2330 to arrive immediately, after a delayed flight meant that they missed the last public transport to their destination. Wim's was the best value near the airport and he could not have been more helpful, both on the phone and when they arrived. Full marks to Booking.com - you can instantly find sensibly-priced accommodation day or night.

Chill and comfortable with lots of amenities. Wim really went out of his way to answer any questions I had and to make sure I was really comfortable. I was waylaid at the airport from the UK and didn’t have a euro converter, and he made sure to find me one. He scheduled me a cab for my return journey and gave me some great advice about getting to the airport earlier than I’d planned (a strike was going on that I didn’t know about). Ended up saving me a ton of stress and hassle.

I needed a place last-minute so I was worried my stay wouldn't be smooth, but the host was ready and gracious. The room was exactly as advertised, comfortable and warm.

There is a 5 minute time limit to shower which to my foreigner mind is strange. There were also certain times when showering wasn't permitted (unless you were going to the airport outside of the hours stipulated). There were no problems with water pressure or heating, though.

Booked last minute after we were left stranded and Wim was brilliantly helpful and made us feel at ease right away. We were provided with lots of refreshments in our room and the modest kitchen was useful. The outdoor seating/smoking area was very cosy too. Overall a great little place

The location is a bit of a letdown as public transport is inaccessible if you're not willing to walk 20 mins to the nearest stop but otherwise great

The room was cute, there was chocolate, water, juice, beer, tea and coffee from a coffee machine included in the price, nice bathroom with all essentials included, hairdryer and safe in bedroom, nice little garden area out the front!

The pillows were too flat, I prefer a private bathroom to a shared one, the bathroom was directly at the other side of my bedroom wall so everytime the toilet flushed in the night it woke me up

The host was very flexible and tried to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I booked a room at around 10:15 PM due to a flight cancellation and was able to check in immediately. He also went out of his way to help me navigate the town and go back to the airport the following day

Wim was very available. I lost my flight at the airport so I had to look for somewhere to stay. I chose Wim's place because it was located very near to the airport. I had my flight very early the day after and Wim offered me, for 25€, to drive me back to the airport.

Wim was very accommodating, I had booked this place last minute while I was in the Amsterdam Airport. Its 10 minutes from the airport by Taxi. He showed me around personally, despite my late arrival and even explained how to get to the train station for the next morning. He is an excellent host and lovely person!
