Pebble Beach Motor Inn

The accommodation was roomier than expected, and the furnishings were in good taste. Furniture and bed very comfortable. There was a kitchenette in the room which meant we could self-cater (had we chosen to). There was a spa bath, but we didn't use it with an odd shaped privacy wall. Staff were polite.

Not much natural light in the room. You rely on the front ranch slider for daylight, and this then makes it feel less private as it faces the carpark and street. While there are windows at the back, they face into a brick wall. so do not provide much natural light. There is no view at all from this room. There was internal wall damage that had not been repaired. There was only a basic welcome at reception. I didn't feel that staff went out of their way. We were only there for one night, to attend a funeral, so being a last minute booking, the price was quite expensive.

Very big unit with a separate two bed room. The main bed was a huge king and lovely. Lovely big spa bath in the main area and the bathroom itself was practical though could have used an exhaust fan for the steam. Kitchen had everything required. Located a short drive up to the Art Deco town centre. Lounge and dining table. Nice unit.

Got a fright when we arrived as they had inadvertently cancelled our confirmed booking. Luckily there had been another cancellation and our room was secured. Mistakes happen, but a bit of a worry when you arrive after a long drive.

Fully equipped kitchen with hobb, plenty of space, very clean, attractive bathroom with shower and spa bath, extra large bed, location close to town and beach, excellent parking- spacious, close to road, specially for the units in that small building so unlikely to be taken, free wifi, receptionist/manager is very friendly and helpful

My grandson really wanted netflix - streaming referrred to TV channels only. Very steep steps up to first floor where accommodation is. Fifteen percent discount from booking dot com was significantly dearer than the motel would have charged

The studio room was huge and the bed was so comfortable. We had a lovely view across to the beach/sea and the fountains too which were beautiful in the evening with all their changing colours. Loved the huge spa bath from which we could relax and watch TV! The lift access was super helpful especially being on the 3rd Floor. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to family and friends too!

Nothing really except there was a lightbulb missing in the lounge and one not working in the bathroom plus they replaced a cracked cup for us. One of the hobs was faulty too but on informing reception they noted it down and said they would get someone to look at it on our departure.

Lovely staff, clean and tidy. Awesome size spa. Great location and awesome sea view. Just a note: fire alarm went off on the day we checked out, might be useful if staff tell visitors/guests about your fire drill as no one actually did anything (even though there wasn’t an actual emergency - toast from another guest let off fire alarm)

Can hear guests on top floor move around upstairs. Also our rental got swiped by another car (it was parked at the bottom of stairs of units 9 & 10)…no note from offending car :( hoping your cameras at entrance of carpark work?

This was absolutely perfect for us. Far enough away from the city centre that it wasn't noisy. Yet, close enough we could walk to most places we wanted to. Very comfortable and clean. Value for money.

If I am being extremely picky, no elevator to get to our suite, one of us had recent knee injury. I should have enquired before booking, so I blame me for that. It was only when we got to the room and read the compendium that there was a small lift that could have taken our luggage up. However, the balcony views more than made up for it.

Fantastic sea view from the 3rd story apartment. Really clean and tidy . Large room with spa pool. Preeti the Manager was friendly and welcoming. We were given milk and juice which was a nice bonus. lots of tea and coffee in the room . kitchen was really good, large bathroom. cleaners do a good job.

strange knocking tapping noise at night . maybe plumbing in the ceiling or something loose on the roof, staff will investigate. Did not hear it during the day but in the dead of night it was noticeable

High standard of cleanliness, well equipped kitchen, comfortable king size bed, can watch TV in bed or from spa, plenty of electrical plugs, wide range of lighting, expellair turns on automatically when stove top is turned on, location close to Marine Parade, off street parking, door locks automatically when you enter, was provided with orange juice as well as milk on arrival, all staff very helpful, a pleasure to interact with them. Very spacious. Could open or close shutters to spa bath, ironing facilities in room and hairdryer. Spa as well as shower with plenty of towels provided. Close to city and beach. Free wifi.

A lot of steep stairs - my fault I should have specified ground floor

Lovely clean, spacious accommodation with great views of the sea and nearby fountains. Nice welcoming staff. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. There was an iron and ironing board in our room. Great water pressure in the shower. We enjoyed having breakfast in our room with the balcony door open (it was raining, so couldn't sit outside), as we watched the world go by. Unfortunately we were too busy to enjoy the spa bath.

The bathroom fan wasn't working that well, so the mirror fogged up. The bathroom sink tap was difficult to stop dripping. The wardrobe was quite small.

We were given a slight upgrade on the rooms we booked and were allocated an executive apartment for 4. It was spacious and well appointed although one of the bedrooms had no natural light. The living space was comfy with plenty of sitting room space although I’m not sure who would use the jacuzzi bath in the same area 😂 . The manager was very helpful, especially as we were caught there during the cyclone when we lost all power and hot water. We had a great meal at the asian restaurant just along the sea front on our first night, but after that it was whatever PaknSave had for sale as everything else was shut. So we ate by candle light, drank a lot on the balconies with other stranded travellers, and escaped as soon as one of the bridges was open! It was an experience, and this hotel made it bearable. We really wanted to explore the area in its glory and so we will be back. In the meantime, we wish all the locals affected by that terrible storm (which by the way, we didn’t hear in our cocooned room) the very best and hope to see you again in better times.
