We stayed in one of the bungalows and it was a great choice! All the amenities of a hotel with the basic comforts of home, like a coffee machine and a refrigerator. Great breakfast served in our room every morning, with warm bread and pastries, croissants, freshly boiled eggs, fresh fruit, homemade orange juice, etc. There was also a very nice private varanda with a table and chairs, where one can appreciate the sunset and the Batalha Monastery in the distance. Spacious pool area, perfect for a relaxing day.

We just didn't want to go home yet. We booked this place on a whim. It was halfway to Lisboa from Aveiro and we wanted some peace. Boy did we find it. William and his son were most good-natured and kind. Our plans to wander off to Nazare were squashed by the bounty of opportunity right where we were. William made arrangements for a lovely dinner for us in town and we wandered about the monastery beforehand and took many photos. Don't miss this accommodation when making your Portugal plans.

The guesthouse is amazing. There are 4 lovely bungalows overlooking Batalha. such a great location to bounce around to all the attractions in the area. The Pool was very refreshing in the summer heat. the breakfasts were nice as well. All of the amenities were top notch. William the owner was a super host and was incredibly helpful. What a great place to relax during your travels. a definite must stay if passing through this area.

It was the perfect stay for a few days of rest. The accommodation exceeded expectations, with an extraordinary view and a sense of peace that only that silence and calm can provide. Mr. William was an excellent host, always available and friendly 😊 The homemade and different breakfast every morning is one of the highlights. It's really worth staying here and we definitely want to come back!

A perfect quiet spot to spend your hollidays or a weekend with your partner or family. We stayed at one of the 4 Bungalows, each one with a lovely porch facing the pool and the amazyng view, where the best home-made breakfast is brought every morning. The main house has the reception, some rooms to rent and that's where the hosts live, a great couple, super nice and available for everything you need. Every staff member is discreet and nice.  You can enjoy the pool and the sunbeds with a sangria, and you don't ear any noise nor cars.

Very friendly staff meeting a specific request I made. The location was really good on a big hill which gives a great view to batalha and the monastry. We stayed at a bungalow and the conditions were great. Highly recommend and want to return.

we had a wonderful stay at The Olive Hill Guesthouse. Nicely decorated and fully equipped bungalows surrounding a large pool with stunning views. Lush well-maintained centrally located guesthouse. The owner does the extra mile to get you right into a relaxing holiday mood. Just perfect!

Nothing worth mentioning

The location is splendid; you have a very nice view of Batalha a couple of kilometers down, in front of a very interesting swimming pool and inside a field of olive trees. Staff was extremely polite, facilities were very confortable and clean. Every morning a different breakfast surprised me. Will repeat, surely.

We stayed for three nights, but wished we had booked for longer. It is an ideal location from which to explore the sights of central Portugal. Our bungalow was a home from home - beds were extremely comfortable and everything we needed was there. Our hosts could not have been more helpful.

Charming, quiet, and relaxing. We would have stayed longer had we known that we would enjoy the area so much. Host was friendly and place is beautiful! Has a great selection of wine at a very reasonable price to purchase after a long day traveling. Highly recommend. Will be back with all our friends!
