Hotel Fatima

If you are coming to see the Shrine, the location is unbeatable! You walk out the door and are at the entrance to the Shrine grounds. It is also at a stop for the little town train that takes you to the 3 children’s homes and the Way of the Cross. The room was excellent with plenty of space, comfortable beds, well supplied bathroom and patio with an amazing view of the Sanctuary. (Be sure to request, as not all rooms have view!) We had breakfast included and it was excellent with both American style hot choices and European style cold meats and cheeses and plenty of fresh fruits! We had one dinner including drinks in the hotel and it was excellent and reasonably priced. Special Compliments to the restaurant servers, the housekeepers and the entire staff! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We had a minor problem with our room door lock and they immediately fixed it. The front desk person Carla was helpful in coordinating a driverto view many other religious sites near Fatima!

If I could add one thing, it would be hot water pots in in the rooms for coffee and tea. Although there are many cafes in the area, it would be nice to have coffee in your room or on patio.

This is an excellent location for a pilgrimage to the Fatima sanctuary. The hotel is right next door to the entrance of the sanctuary. The hotel staff were friendly. The room and bathroom size were bigger than I was expecting for a single guest. Housekeeping was excellent. They cleaned the room daily and always had a smile on their face each time I met them on my way out of the hotel. Breakfast was ok. There was an option to pay for dinner if you do not want a half board, but unfortunately, this option was a la carte rather than buffet so exploring different local meals can be expensive. A staff recommendation for an Italian dessert was excellent. Overall, I think this hotel is a good place to stay and I would recommend the hotel to others.

close to destination of Fatima and shops. the room were cozy and clean. the bathroom was a good size. the mattress was comfy to lay on. staff was accommodating throughout our stay

kept having problems with our room keys. we booked three rooms and each had a problem with the keys trying to get into our room, so had to go down to reception a number of times. the bathroom taps were too small and close to the back of the sink so uncomfortable to wash hands properly the breakfast buffet was basic and not much choice. so we went out to eat to fill our stomach

The hotel location was extremely brilliant as we were not in a position to walk long journeys to the Bacilica etc. the staff were absolutely professional, helpful and courteous. The hotel atmosphere was relaxed and happy

We cannot complain about any of the hotel facilities as they were excellent. The staff, the atmosphere, etc. If we can make a small suggestion re shower facilites in the bathrooms, it is so much safer and accessable to have walk in showers available in preferance to shower facilites using the bath shower option.

The tourist train stop #2 is along side of the hotel. The Sanctuary campus is across a small road. A couple of the staff speaks very good English. They allowed us to check in early. Our room has a view of the Sanctuary. The building doesn't look like much on the outside, but the rooms look very nice. I didn't have time to figure out how to use the bidet. The breakfast buffet was adequate, except for the croissants. The croissants were bakery fresh - flaky and crunchy on the outside and light and moist on the inside. I was surprised. If I wasn't watching my carbs I would have eaten a bunch. If we visit the Sanctuary again, I would definitely want to stay here again.

Location was directly next to entrance to Sanctuary. Our room (322) had a Sanctuary view as we requested. Decor and furnishings appeared to be all new and very tastefully done. Despite being off season restaurant was open reasonable hours and served a reasonable and affordable menu. Restaurant wait staff was amazing serving meals in classic style. When our bus was not until 5:00 pm and check out was at noon we were allowed to stay in the room all day until our bus for only 10 euros per hour which was very reasonable!! I can definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again!

Only negative is there is no hair dryer in the bathroom and no outlet to plug one or a razor etc in the bathroom.

Crossing the street you will be on the side entrance of the santuario of our lady of fatima!

I order an Uber Eats while my baby was sleeping, Uber eats daid i can leave it at my door but the recepcinist call my room instead and asked me to come down to pick it up, my baby was waken up and i was not happy at all, the should clarify with the app they only can leave Uber Eats at receptions.

nothing, we loved everything about the facilities and the hotel’s hospitality. Except with the difficulty we had in pulling out our checked in luggages starting from the bus station going to the hotel. An unpaved walkway makes it difficult to roll out our big luggages.

The staff were very kind and friendly, the location was perfect and at the doorstep of the Fatima Sanctuary :), the breakfast was a good spread, it was lovely

The only problem was that the rooms must have gotten wet beforehand so there was an odour upon arrival but it soon cleared up when we opened the balcony doors.

I really loved the homey feeling I got from the hotel. The staff was super friendly and available to help. I was really pleased with the restaurant gastronomy. The food was plated beautifully and tasted like heaven. The bathroom in our room was perfect. The size and the layout fitted us perfectly.
