The apartment was very big, the staff was very friendly and the price was great.

The hot water isn't enough for the amount of guests in one apartment. I was alone and took a 10-15min shower and the hot water was finished. Then I had to wait for ~1h to be able to use it again. If 3-4 people are staying there that's definitely not enough. But that was really the only thing I didn't like.

The continental breakfast satisfied the whole family daily - it was fresh and well presented. A machine was available during breakfast for tea/coffee to help yourself. The apartment was comfortable and well located within the complex with easy access to the pool and bar. Plenty of sun beds to accommodate all guests and the whole family enjoyed the pool table and table tennis, which was available at our leisure. The cleaners cleaned the apartment daily and provided plenty of fresh towels. The two balconies of the apartment were a bonus and books were readily available in the apartment, which was great as I had forgotten to pack a book! The free shuttle bus was handy for us to find our bearings for the first couple of days but if the times weren't convenient as the holiday went on, it was easy to pick up a cheap Uber to get into Carvoeiro or locations nearby. Hired a car from reception for a few days and the process was easy. We loved exploring the area and there was free parking in the complex. The staff at Colina da Lapa were accommodating and were extremely helpful prior to, and throughout our stay, organising our airport transfers for example. We loved Colina da Lapa and would love to return to stay in a villa next time. We felt very safe. It has a couple of lovely restaurants within walking distance but it was not difficult to travel a short distance to Carvoeiro if you wanted more of the busyness and entertainment. The Slide and Splash water park was very convenient and we had an excellent day. It was perfect for us as a family; suitable for all ages. Would recommend.

There is nothing that we did not like. However, the pool could do with some extra care to get it back to its best, such as repairing missing tiles to be as well presented as possible. Colina da lapa is a quiet resort ideal for families. It would have been nice to maybe have a singer for a couple of hours to have a drink and relax early evening but that might not suit everyone and the type of quiet resort this is. If you're expecting mini discos and the like, then this is not the place for you.

Easy to check in. Good sized apartment with pleasant views out.

Kitchen has only one electrical outlet for several devices ( microwave, toaster, coffee machine, boiler)

we were there for afronation! so obvs location wasnt ideal, but we booked the accomodations quite late! still pretty cute place, very calm and quiet! our room may have been one of the old ones, didnt look super modern, but it was clean and exactly like the pictures shown. You can book transport to tourist activities and to the airport going back as well, may come a bit pricyyy though depending on the which season of the year you go.

Breakfast could have been better. however those smoothies were fantastic in the morning

Everything about the house was great, the location was a little far from the airport but it was very close to the local shops. The staff are amazing, they are really helpful and make you feel welcome and always ready to help.

Some of the facilities were a little old, the kitchen utensils especially, the cooker was of an old version and took very long to cook. the wifi is also slow at times.

Lovely apartment, 2 balconies, equipped kitchen,diming room with fireplace, a sofa bed a table and a tv, comfy bedroom. Very good price. we have been here 2 weeks in january 23, only once it rained for a bit. Location very good. close 10 min from portimao, 35 from lagos, 30 from albufeira. I advice going to armasao de pera, lovely, and not dead iven off season

For the price we got we couldn't really complain.... maybe a room with less than 4 ramps of stairs next time. but we didn't mind.

Quiet location with attractive grounds. Daily laundry and bed making service. Pool. Restaurant. Friendly staff Very affordable.

The apartment fittings have become rather old and tired. The sofa bed made a very uncomfortable sofa for evening relaxation. Twin beds, we would rather have a double.

Place was amazing with all facilities one needs for an amazing and thrilling vacation. Thankfully i went in off season therefore, me and my friends could have entire pool for ourselves and it was quite so night beside pool was one moment.

Make sure you get your groceries and anything you need to eat or consume beforehand from wherever you're coming because there's only one small store near the place which makes it very expensive for basic stuff. So make sure you bring your stock already.

Really enjoyed our stay and wished it had been for longer. The location was quiet and peaceful but still within walking distance to a few restaurants and a small supermarket. A larger supermarket was a 50min walk away but Uber was very reasonable which made it easy to reach. The resort is well maintained. Very spacious apartment. Spotlessly clean. All the apartments were nicely spread apart and did not feel crowded. The staff were very helpful. Really had a great stay and far exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend.

Could not really fault it. Only negative was the apartment was a little dated in furniture choice, it was simple but functional and had just what we needed.
