The atmosphere, the amazing stories Christof and Tina told us (ask about the dolphins!) and the tranquility of the grounds surrounding the beautiful house with swimmingpool. The breakfast is superfresh and the coffees from the Italian coffeemachine are splendid. Did I already told you about the tips for trips Christof has to offer? And everything interesting is so nearby: Olhâo, Faro and Trevira. Fine cities to just stroll around. When arriving at the mansion you have to look over the sandy and little bit bumpy road. But then splendor opens up to you. We highly recommend a stay at Casa die Ventos!

Wonderful house with exceptional garden and terrace, lot of space to spend time or work remotely. Perfect kitchen facilities for cooking. Amazingly rich breakfast with a lot of local stuff. And the best hosts you can wish. Very good place to stay with children (big garden) or if you need to work remotely. You can just have an overnight sleep there, but it is ideal for longer stay as well. And if you have any interest in exotic plants and trees - that's the place for you! Beautiful views (located on the hillside), close to Olhao city.

The breakfast was the best I've ever had travelling around the world. As it's called a Bed and Breakfast this for me already automatically raised my appreciation by 50%. Most of the food is grown in their own garden or by other locals nearby. Lots of variety and also more than enough of it. Everything tasted wonderful and we were thorougly entertained during breakfast by Christoph's stories and information about the area. All while enjoying a great cup of coffee made by Tina. Looking forward to trying a cup from the new machine if that all went as planned.

The place is located on a dirt road so it's not the easiest to get to. This does mean it's wonderfully isolated and quiet.

Great place to stay and relax. Lots of interesting cities and places to visit nearby. Very warm and kind welcome and an amazing breakfast, with fresh fruit and cheeses, delicious coffee and much more. We felt 'at home' within hours and the availability of the big kitchen with fridge is very handy. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the garden and the pool.

The road to the house is bumpy and there is a lot of trash on it. The first impression was a bit of a shock but.. the road leads to a great place!

Our Stay with Christoph and Tina was perfect. We received the most genuine and warming welcome upon arrival, were treated to a beautiful fresh breakfast with home made pancakes, gorgeous fresh fruit, cured meat and cheese as well as a homemade smoothie. The shared facility has everything you could need from a real coffee machine to a meat slicer. The view from the balcony, cosy outdoor area around the pool and indoor area with a piano, it was all beautiful and clearly a purposeful gesture of hosts who thoroughly enjoy facilitating beautiful memories for all who come to this lovely bed and breakfast .

The road up can be awkward in a taxi as it's quite difficult for the driver, it's a lovely walk if you get out before the dirt track though.

Breakfast was amazing, welcome fantastic and this is the best stay I have ever had in Olhao. Well done to Christoph and Tina you are lovely hosts that put your guests first. 100% on all that you provided for our stay.

Superb remote setting, making for a very relaxing stay. Christoph and Tina were exemplary hosts making us feel extremely welcome. The house is stunning and the surrounding gardens are lovely too. Our room had an ensuite bathroom and air-conditioning. As mentioned by others, the breakfast laid on in the morning was beautifully presented and really tasty too... we didn't need to eat again until the evening after that feast!

The host Tina and Christoph are great, with unforgettable hospitality and kindness. They love what they do. They are very helpful with information about the area and help you to make more out of your trip! The place is quiet and relaxing ! Especially the breakfast needs to be mentioned, it was a lovely set up of everything you need. We would always book again!

Very interesting furnished house with old interior items dating back several generations. Swimming pool, terrace. Fantastic hospitality of the owners Christoph and Tina, endless jokes and willingness to answer any questions. Talking to them was an absolute pleasure.

Unfortunately we had an early morning flight and were not able to enjoy breakfast. Cramped room (it was ok for one night), ants in the kitchen.

Extremely helpful, personable hosts, excellent breakfasts and comfortable rooms. Lovely rural location, didn’t feel like a hotel or B&B which was a pleasant change from everyday hotels

Pillows could be better, difficulty finding the property as it is on rough tracks off the main road. Would be good to have a sign at the main road junction
