My husband, 4 year old son and I spent 2 nights at 8 Villas in July 2023 for a wedding, and loved our time there. The hotel staff are so friendly and accommodating. It had a professional vibe, with a pleasant family touch that you don’t get often. The breakfast was really nice and had a good selection each day (including made to order omelettes etc). The town is really pretty and people were really friendly. We would definitely stay again and thanks to Nelson and company for a nice stay.

Nelson was very helpful both before, in emails and booking taxis and in the friendly manner he greeted us and told us about the area. He also booked a great restaurant for us. The hotel was very central really well appointed in a creative modern style. What a change from a bank! Our room was large, very comfortable and had a lovely little balcony with table and chairs. It was cool with the balcony door open and as it faced a courtyard, very quiet. We also enjoyed the breakfast. We definitely would recommend the hotel and would return!

We were disappointed that the restaurant had had to close for a few months but understood totally the reasons for it. However, the restaurants Nelson recommended for dinner and lunch were easy to access and had very good food.

What a gem set in the heart of the little town of Santo Tirso. it’s a small boutique hotel, elegantly designed and decorated. Our room was very spacious and clean. Bed comfortable with lovely bedding. The bathroom is a little on the small side but you have everything you need. Breakfast was great with fresh vegetables and fruit. Thus is a great place to stay in the Brags Porto area and we loved the town. So much charm.

Breakfast was very good with many options, fresh bakery bread and very helpful and polite service. Actually all staff, from the owner to the service and cleanup personnel, all of them too much helpful and polite. Food at the restaurant, for lunch and dinner, in two words, just perfect, and at amazing good prices. rooms not too much big, but with all required comforts, like A/C, WiFi, mini fridge, coffee machine...

To have some parking spots for cars. But according to the owner its matter of time to arrange with the city the availability of parking spots in front of the hotel. But parking in front of the Hotel is very cheep after all, only 0,90Euro / 90minutes.

Nelson and the staff were very friendly and really helpful. They gave us lots of information when checking in. We arrived early but we were allowed to get our room straight away so we could relax after lots of traveling. The location is great and there are lots of options for breakfast to suit everyone.

The accommodation was modern and clean. The bed was comfy, the wifi strong and when it was hot, the AC never failed. The location of the hotel is central and within walking distance of good restaurants and tourist attractions.

Nothing comes to mind. We were really pleased by our stay here.

I have been lucky to travel a lot and have some great hotels booked for me. This one is in my top list. At this price this boutique hotel surpassed all my expectations. Staff and facilities: top shelf. Do not hesitate.

Modern facilities, comfortable rooms, great breakfast. The attention to guests well being is authentic and genuine in a way that is beyond expectations. Thank you Nelson and staff for a great stay!

Staff very friendly, nice decoration, clean and good breakfast. If you are vegetarian or vegan advice to tell them. Really good location.

It was really hot the room. It didn't had proper ventilation system but it had air con and it was properly working. I just can't sleep with any noise and I don't like air con. My room didn't had a Window to open, only a door to a commun balcony, so I didn't feel safe to open it during the night.

Nelson was very accommodating with us, and was a big help in arranging transport, and letting us shelter from the rain. Rooms were very clean and comfortable Location was perfect in town
