Aparthotel Solifemar

The hotel is at the beach and it is very clean but what makes it stand out are the people working there. Very kind and welcoming! Our daughter got sick the last night there and there was always a warm tea and advice from the staff. They even allowed us to stay past checkout time until it was time to go to the airport since she was in no condition to walk around. Thanks so much!

Excellent breakfasts at the restaurant. Continental breakfast was free with the room price; but guests have to pay for other kinds of breakfasts. Excellent customer service; everyone we encountered was friendly, polite, and ready to resolve any question or issue which we had. Our apartment had a wonderful view of the sea, a large balcony, and a small fully-equipped kitchen. Our room had a heater and also air conditioning. As it was early April, we had no need for the air conditioning. The heater, however, we did occasionally need, and it worked very well.

All the staff were kind and I was able to keep my luggage in advance. It was a single bed, but the bed was spacious and soft. The experience of sitting on the outdoor chair and table in front of the room was very good. The bathroom is very clean.

I couldn't turn on the air conditioner because there was too much dust in the air conditioner filter. There was only a small window next to the room door, so ventilation was difficult, and there was only one bottle of water in the room and there was no supermarket nearby. It was also difficult to use the vending machine.

Location was perfect! a mins walk from sea water. The view from balcony was marvellous. There was fantastic bar just a mins on to the beach, lovely restaurants are no more than 3mins walk away from hotel! Everything right there for me. The supermarkets was little away, but can hire the bike from hotel and that's 5-7mins ride! So, I pop over to the town castle and picked up grocery, then come back to hotel in one hour...perfect! Staff was so helpful as well. It was wonderful stay. Thank you

The balcony was big and wide, lovely. Its very open, come to middle of the balcony there is only little privacy left from neighbours. I've got on with both side... but if you want some privacy, have to stay closer to the room window. Still I loved ever part of experience at this hotel x

Very clean and very nice apartment. We used it just for one night before going back home. Its close to the beach, Castelldefels is very cozy and nice suburb of Barcelona. King side bed was very comfy and very huge. Except mosquitos bothering us whole night, everything was perfect.. We came in the morning (before our check-in) to leave our big luggage in the reception and it was no problem to leave it there with no additional cost. Communication with hotel was perfect.

Only thing i was missing in the apartment was the window to have nice view. Only door and gray shade window was available in the room.

Close to beach - super fine. Close to Barcelona so can use taxi to get home. Very helpful personnel of the hotel - this really helped to resolve some issues. Rooms were clean. Enjoyed our stay a lot.

Room can be a bit larger. Need to reserve place in the hotel restaurant for lunch ( on the weekends). Better to know this in advance. No close supermarkets. We were without car so to get water into the room needed to use Glovo. Would be nice if possible to buy 2-5l water in the hotel itself. But maybe it's only our problem - we need lots of water :)

Room 308 was very clean. The kitchen and bathroom are perfectly tidy and clean. A sufficient number of dishes, the necessary equipment: microwave, kettle, toaster. The room has an iron and hair dryer. The huge bed is very comfortable. And of course the terrace. Don't forget it's two stars. Who loves to enjoy the sea view, this is the place for you. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they helped us lift our luggage up to the 3rd floor. Breakfast was not taken. Near the restaurant with excellent cuisine, dined only there. We liked everything.

Fantastic location. Great facilities, you can hire a bike from the hotel for a really good price. Directly across the beach from a fabulous beach.

Hotel is excellent but I expected a private balcony, possibly my misunderstanding of what I was booking. But if your room is not at the end of the row, people are walking past your door through your little section of outdoor space. We got up in the morning to find a man standing right outside our door!

Had a room that appeared to be brand new and was very clean. Simple fitout (no window apart from next to the door some small ones), but it had a fridge, microwave and safe. Bed was good, shower had normal shower and a monsoon shower head. Friendly staff, 24 hour reception. They booked a taxi for an early morning departure to the airport. Overall a good place to stay if leaving on an early flight, as it is close to the airport, and taxis don't need to enter Barcelona to get to it.

Was there on a Saturday night and some people were having a party or just drinking, and there was shouting and laughing outside until the early morning hours.

location is great, the beach is right across the street and the apartments have a sea view. I liked the Latin names written on the plants in the garden. Karaoke nights from Thursday to Friday. very helpful and people friendly staff in all the hotel. we were once very late back and wanted to eat something and instead of saying the kitchen is closed they helped us with a great meal. The receptionists were always so friendly and helpful with my many questions. possible to rent bikes also free beach umbrellas and towels. The apartment is clean and very comfortable beds. would definitely recommend it for any traveler with kids.

the sea view was blocked by a very tall ficus tree. so next time I will ask to be on the second floor to have a better sea view
