Hotel Residencia Castellano I

The attention was excellent, the personal was very kind. The rooms were warm (it was very cold outside, so the heating system was perfectly working). The bathroom had a nice shower. Generally speaking, the room was very comfortable.

If you are planning to do tourism, perhaps the hotel is a bit far from the center (in any case, Salamanca is a very small city so it is not a real problem for people used to walk). However, it is only 10 min walking from the main train station. I didn't like the fact that the walls were very thin, so you literally hear everything from the neighbor.

Great value, friendly staff and great location. Stayed last year as well and would recommend.

Maybe the rooms are a bit 'tired' but for the price it's amazing value. I'd happily return.

I really liked the breakfast at the morning, the personal was really friendly, i enjoyed talking with them. The fact that there is always someone to welcome you at any time is really appreciable and comforting.

The only thing i didn't like was the proximity with other rooms, I could hear everything the neighbours were saying or doing, which can be a bit annoying sometimes.

Very Great. People who are working there are really amazing. When my friend forgot something from The hotel and they instantly call to us and inform. It was really helpful because we didn’t left area yet and we were able to come back and pick up or stuff. Owner of The hotel is really amazing Being with warm and love to each other which is The most prescious thing. Thank you, thank you from Poland

I saw handle from the shower was not properly set up, but I am sure it can be correct.

For a quick sleep and go like I did it's very good, especially because of the price for 2. If you arrive at 15 for check in you can get a nice go around the city which is one of the most beautiful places I've been on earth. And leave next morning with a toast orange juice coffee.

The Hotel is loacetd very well, a 10-minutes-walk from the Plaza Major. Staff was very friendly and helpful, esspecially Barnard is very nice. They even offered me to leave my bicycle in their spare room. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. A few things are not very new, but everything is fine. Also good, they have the Hotel and a typical Bar / cafe together in the same building, so that its easy to get a coffee, a few snacks or a complete meal. All in all, nice atmosphere and value for money. Clear recommendation.

Bit more English-speaking-skills would be helpful, but thats a problem not for the Castellano alone, but for Spain as a whole.

Very good value for money. Great spanish breakfast in the cafeteria. The manager there was very helpful.

I liked everything. Quiet location, size of the room, huge mirrors fixed on sliding wardrobe doors, moderate heating, value for money, great pressure in the shower, friendly staff
