Hotel La Torre

The communication directly with the hotel, following booking was excellent. Everything about the hotel including the location, facilities, staff, grounds, parking and room was exactly as described. The attention to detail, in particular regarding the service, was flawless. I won't be returning to Tarifa unless I am able to secure a room at this hotel. As a family-run hotel, it is clear to see that each guest is treated with respect and the utmost care.

Probably the first time I have ever said this but 'nothing'

Really nice and cool hotel. Overall really good facilities. A nice garden. Nice pool (when it is cleaned for the season), good internet. My room had the feeling of a beach hut which I really liked.

The location is less than optimal if you do not have a car. The beach in front of the hotel is difficult to access and not really nice for swimming, although there are great beaches for that nearby, so not a problem if you have a car or a bicycle or if you like walking. I found the restaurant nice but way overpriced. Also there is a very busy road right in front of the hotel.

Our staying was amazing, room was spacious and cozy, the staff friendly and professional. We had the luck to have a dinner which was simply AMAZING, really high quality. We haven't had the chance to spend much time, but would definitely be coming back if around. Host also handed a gift over at checkout. Plus: Bathroom also included a bidet, which is a big plus! I know Italians like me can relate and would appreciate to know

It was a fantastic value for the ammenities, a pool, cabana and restaurant. Great for families and for young people. We loved how it was so close to the beach, how it was in a beautiful natural park area and to tariffa. We stayed two nights, one of which was after we spent a day in Morocco. We are a family of four and we had a loft room. It was very basic but fine for our needs. It was convenient to have a restaurant on the premises so we didn't have to drive into Tariffa to eat. We had two meals there. The staff was wonderful! They even gave us a free bottle of wine, so nice! We definitely reccomend staying there and would return.

Food at restaurant could have been a bit better for the price. It was a little pricey and some of the food was good, some just ok. One of the breakfast entrees with ham was pretty bad.

We ordered hotel with a terrace but insted we got cabin that was not listed at the property. But the cabin was much better. It was new and had some privacy. Little swimming pool and area for leisure is nicely organised and it was almost noone using it at the time we did.

It should be somehow showed at the picture how it looks the cabin that we got instead, but it didnt bother me to much as it was nice one. The place is pricy but it seems many of the hotels at thw area have similar price.

We had booked a room with a terrace although this was mainly to ensure a large double bed. This meant we were in one of the cabin-style rooms at the rear of the property, backing onto the garden. The room was simply designed but actually very well put together - comfy bed, enough space and windows that opened or closed tight with excellent double glazing. Whilst we didn't get any traffic noise at the back, we were unfortunate enough to stay during two nights of gale-force winds so the strong windows were perfect at keeping the howling wind out! The grounds of the hotel are lovely and there's a very cute pool with loungers strategically dotted around the garden - a really nice place to hang out. Although out of the main centre, it is close to lovely beaches which you just need to cross the busy road to find. The windy weather put paid to a beach visit but you'd be well-located if you didn't want to drive up coast. We didn't eat in the restaurant for breakfast or dinner but it is handy if you don't want to drive into Tarifa - about 10 mins by car.

The terrace - a fenced area with artificial turf - isn't something we would have used and mostly I saw people drying their swimming things on them. Having said that, if you have a small child and want a private area for them, this could work. Otherwise, I'd say the grounds are great when you want to be outside.

Very clean room, nice pool area and lounging spots with hammocks and seating set around. The staff were polite and helpful; our a/c didn’t work properly and they sent someone to fix it immediately and also left us a large fan that kept us cool all night. We had a lovely terrace outside with a table and chairs which was perfect for snacking and enjoying the view of the ocean

The hotel restaurant was fully booked for lunch and dinner!! I heard the food was good but hadn’t expected that we wouldn’t get a table. I wish we had been told in our welcome email to book a table in advance :)

The room was excellent. I would book the same room again, i have stayed in other rooms away from the main building and they were smaller.

No breakfast was included, and the Booking.com price more 30€ more expensive than booking directly.

relaxing out of town place to stay. Enjoyed the garden and pool.

4.5 miles out of town. A cab ride was $12-15. We ran up quite a bill. Rooms are comfortable. A little more soundproofing would do wonders.

Location was excellent and the room was well located given I'm disabled. The staff were friendly and obliging a great family run hotel.

Only downside was not enough housekeeping staff hence our room didn't get cleaned until 3 30/4.00pm.
