Excellent brakfast

The hamam was closed due to refurb. This was not mentioned when I booked it

Comfortable room with large King bed. Modern bathroom and small toiletries provided. Excellent breakfast including fresh omelettes, crepes, croissantes and more. Pool area looked nice but we visited in March so it was too cold to enjoy.

Due to Covid the spa services we’re not available even though masks were not required. There were no decent restaurants within walking distance and it was very difficult to find a taxi. we would end up walking 20+ minutes until one was available. We asked the front desk twice to call in a taxi for us and it took over 15minutes for them to show. The street side room was extremely loud at night and with morning traffic. Many car horns made it difficult to sleep. I would suggest upgrading to an ocean room for a quieter stay.

The hotel is in a great location, nearly at the eastern end of the beach. The views of the city, of the mediterranean sea and of Gibraltar (Jbel Tarik) are phenomenal and just that is worth every penny. The staff at the reception were lovely. We felt very welcomed and appreciated. They took care of us from the very beginning. Coming from an 8 hour plane travel and an additional train ride, I appreciated their concern to our fatigue and how they made every effort to accommodate us directly upon our arrival. Breakfast buffet has everything you could want or dream of...the custom made omelettes are amazing and it has everything from fruits to sauciges to vegetables. Everything is self serve, but also the table service was appreciated and truly is that of a 5 star hotel, if that is what you require. The servers are polite, curteous, and steadfast in taking care of the patrons. The pool is great in size, beautiful to the eye and great to swim in. It is cleaned every morning at daybreak and I could see they do it throughly for hours, until the first guests decide to take a swim. Security is provided by a reputable international company and is 24/7. At the front gate you can tell no one who has no business at Mogador is kept at bay. Even taxis or food delivery men are kept at arms length to protect the guests. The back gate provides a near direct access to the beach and a security guard there is always present to let guests in or out and make sure no one else enters the perimesis. My wife and I felt very safe. Also the military is stationned right across the street, that proximity would provide additionnal safety and peace of mind for any guests. Our room had a great view, great balcony, great facilities and was of great comfort as well. The beds are gigantic, the showers and bathrooms are modern and classy.

I didn't stay long enough and had to go back to real life..

Coffee maker was didn't work.

-The warmth and kindness showed by the entire staff. -Extensive and interesting local specialities for breakfast, varying each day. -The public areas and the attention shown to keep them looking immaculate -The standout staff - Reception manager Abaderrahim and the porter Sami :-)

-The costs to use the spa facilities were too much for our visit. -No access to the indoor pool within the room fee.

This hotel is simply amazing. All the facilities, staff members, services especially the breakfast were excellent. Surprisingly it is very underrated since some of the negative reviews are extremely unjust and unreasonable. Ideal for families or couples and truly a hidden gen not to be missed!

Nothing really but perhaps might not be ideal for those who wants to be on walking distance to old town (Medina).

The view of the bay from our suite was gorgeous, the location is great, far enough from the city center that Tangiers late night traffic wasn't a bother but still only a 5 minute drive from the main beach promenade with a few restaurants and coffee places within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was varied enough. The pool is spacious.

We asked for extra sheets, and it took an hour an a couple of trips down to reception to get them. The staff did apologize during check out and explained that our request was lost during shift change. A notepad with pending requests could have fixed that issue. The hotel could also do with a fresh coat of paint which is a common issue with beachfront hotels in general.

The location on the sea front is fantastic. The hotel staff also arranged a fantastic trip to the blue city - chefchaouen, ankchour waterfalls and Tetouan city one day and another around the city of Tangiers. This really did make our trip. Tangiers being such an easy crossing from spain and also great place for day trips. Good breakfast.

The building could've done with a white wash and the patio needed weeding other than that I though the hotel was pretty good. Covid has clearly had an effect on tourism in Morocco and that's evident. Such a small thing but important.

Excellent and varied breakfast, from fresh fruit, to cakes, croissants and freshly made crepes. Big, light airy room with an amazing view over the sea towards Tangier. Super comfy, huge bed and functioning air con. The staff were polite and attentive and the service faultless.

The carpet in our room was really badly marked and we were reluctant to walk in bare feet. The bathroom, although clean had clearly seen better days. Generally tired looking and in need of some improvements to make it truly 5 *

The staff was incredibly helpful. Wiam at the front desk was super friendly and even lent me her charger because I forgot mine. Everyone greeted with a smile and place had a beautiful view of the sea.

I think the place could use a little maintenance however, it seems like older hotels have that character compared to new contemporary hotels which feel like sterile environments. So, overall - cannot complain.
