La Hotel-Baseball Theme Hall

Very helpful and friendly staff in an awesomely decorated theme hotel. The building is close to the cdntral metro station „Formosa Boulevard“ and direct opposite of a convinience store. Two night markets are just around the corner. I had two issues arising while I was staying at the hotel but the staff immediately took care of them in a professional matter. The breakfast was mostly Chinese but it offers a wide array of dishes to choose from, so everyone will definetly find something. There is a welcome afternoon tea and cake which was very pleasent.

There was definetly mold in the bathroom but it die not really surprise for a Taiwanese hotel in this price range. Overall it was clean and well maintained.

Comfortable hotel which is nicely decorated with a fun baseball theme. Beds are comfortable and the room is spacious with enough storage for my needs (hanging some clothes). They have a restaurant serving breakfast from 7am and dinner/tea from 6pm which is a bonus, although western options are limited at breakfast. Also have affordable washing and drying facilities (30TWD) which is great. Really good location right next to Formosa Boulevard MTR so easy to get around Kaohsiung. Have extended my stay for another 2 nights.

In my room there is a bath with a shower overhead, but no shower curtain, and the bath is not fitted against the wall. This means the water sometimes goes over onto the bathroom floor. Not a big deal as it flows into the drain under the sink, but it takes a while to do so. There was also quite a bit of dust, could do with a better clean. Some more tea would also have been nice 🙂

Very good location close to the night market. Baseball theme seemed a bit tacky upfront, but was actually really nice, with autographed shirts, bats, balls and other baseball items, imagery and gadgets all around. We had a room without a window, but it was a great, comfortable and clean room. Nice extra was the free afternoon tea on day of arrival (drinks and some sweet snacks available). Breakfast was quite extensive and tasty.. We got a parking spot right in front of the hotel which was super convenient. Staff was very helpful.

Nothing really

The breakfast had a good variety, and the offer changed every day. All of the food was delicious. Even in the late afternoon and early evening, drinks, snacks, and rice are provided. The staff was very helpful and able to speak English. Besides that, it will be an extraordinary experience if you are a baseball fan.

The breakfast time could be increased to 11 am since I usually get up a bit later in the hotel. However, I also managed to get breakfast every time since it is okay to still sit in the room and eat while things get cleaned. So just a small point. The pros are definitely more!

Totally recommend this hotel. ⚾️ Good price, really nice value! Clean, spacious, modern, all ameties you need, really nice staff with great English. Generous breakfasts (Asian but also Western) all day free deserts and water. There are laundry and dryer machines in the hotel. 🚆2 minute walk from the main 2 metro lines and 10-15 minute walk from the main train station. Love it. YouBikes also nearby. 💪Great fitness studio Liouhe Gym also nearby.

♻️ I missed an option to recycle the trash. 🚰 There could be a towel holder next to the washbasin. (just small things)

So close to the central Formosa Train station. Just a block away from LiuHe night market. Even though the room doesn't have a window, a dehumidifier is provided. Very clean and quiet room. Breakfast is basic, but free afternoon tea everyday. Will stay again.

Breakfast was superb, decor of the hotel was also beautifully done. Free parking is available next door in a sheltered garage. Coin laundry services available too at a reasonable rate. Located just 2 blocks away from Liuhe Night Market.

Like the room layout. It was very spacious and quiet. Overall it is a good stay for a solo traveler. Easily reached by mrt. Good breakfast and afternoon tea. Full of amenities and clean room. And of course, the staffs are helping and warmth welcome🤗 Really Recommended.

2 times for showing the passport.

The laundry service is 24 hour , it's so convincing, The staff is very polite and well managed.

This hotel also don't provide daily water bottle for the guest if they don't need cleaning , at least provide the guest with a water bottle per day will be perfect.
