Lights in the good created a cozy feel. The whole set up of the room felt very cozy and comfortable. We had twin beds and there was still ample space to put both of our luggages and stuff with drawers. Toilet was bigger than expected. Very satisfied with the stay. Free breakfast was also included in our stay, and the variety of food met expectations for the price we paid. Staffs were also friendly.

Room was just slightly dusty on the corner of the walls but not a major issue. Hotel is a little inaccessible for public transport but we Uber everywhere so it's not a big deal too.

Good, stylish hotel near the train station. The room was spacious and equipped with everything that is important when traveling. We especially liked the huge and super comfortable bed and pillows! The breakfast had very good coffee and tea and a good selection of mainly Asian oriented food.

You do the check-in by yourself, I personally prefer the contact with staff. We did not meet any staff until breakfast. At night, apparently the neighboring rooms and the corridor were cleaned - we found that strange and a bit noisy.

For the price we paid, it’s definitely value for money, in particular the free breakfast has a long opening hours and food was extensive and good quality .

The shower unit was a bit mouldy, and the room could have a few more places which a family can hang up wet towels and clothes. Perhaps a couple more USB and international socket could be useful. The slippers provided is a bit bad quality. The room it’s clean but the carpet seems a bit dirty and some cracks on the wall can be fixed.

We stayed four nights all together and experienced three different rooms. The rooms at the upper level were the best. The included breakfast had a good variety and the staff was friendly and helpful. Moreover, the style of the rooms added greatly to the atmosphere and the comfort.

Not a big issue: the location is a tad bit out of the way of all the tourist sites, but still well within walking distance from the Main station. Also, avoid room 308 unless you like to wake up at 6 AM with the pounding bass from the stereo in the dining area.

I loved our stay at this boutique hotel in the middle of Taichung City. Good location, there was a bakery, convenience stores, and restos nearby. I enjoy the breakfast buffet the most. Highly recommended for families, groups of friends, and couples. 👍

The staff was accommodating and they tried hard to serve us but there is still the language barrier which made communicating our needs quite challenging. Translation apps are a must during check in,, plus patience and kindness, of course.

The room was better than what was shown on the photo as the room was modern looking yet kept the elements of the old building. Very well designed. Room was clean and spacious and my family was very satisfied with the room. It is in close proximity to some of the attractions like Miyahara, Taichung Park, Datong Night Market, Sun Biscuit Museum etc.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was also very well furnished. The bathroom had semi-opaque glass walls, which was unexpected but not a problem since I was staying there with my partner. The bathroom itself was very nice. The breakfast was superb, there was a mix of western and local food and there was plenty to choose from. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

The location was close to the train station and bus stops. The room was very big for a single person and the king size bed was so comfortable, especially for someone who's feet goes off the edge in regular queen beds. The bathroom was also big and had many amenities, it was a great stay!

The ac was a little loud, but not too bad while sleeping.

no wardrobe… chose this hotel for their huge full glass sliding windows/door that leads to a little patio outside but didn’t know that they can’t be opened at all

Room is spacious and clean. Shower pressure is good. Breakfast is good.

Soundproof is poor. Can hear the noise from next room. Towel provided on the second day looks old and worn out. Never make the bed during housekeeping.
