LIHO Hotel Tainan

Location is excellent. Staff very friendly and responsive to requests.

First room assigned was small and not what I booked. I had to look at 3 rooms before getting what was in the description. I was there for 8 nights so it mattered. Walls are super thin and I could hear my neighbours. The first night was the worst with their TV on all night. Totally surprised that you weren't allowed to flush toilet paper. WT???? A/C was not very good. The room never got cold enough.

Good value for price. Room was clean and quiet. Good location - close to the train station (15 min walk, 3 min bus ride) and a few sights are around the corner. Hotel hands out a map of the city, which highlights the hotel and most important sights. Hotel has 2 washing machines, 1 dryer and sells detergent for 20 TWD.

I wanted to leave one bag for 2 days at the lobby of the hotel while I do a trip to an offshore island. This was not possible. They would only allow it for the day of check-out.

Amazing value for family travel - we were able to book two rooms at the price so we could all get a good night’s sleep on different schedules. Good location with lots to do within walking distance.

Carpets were a bit dirty, but understandable for the price (everything else was clean)

I was very pleased with my stay. I went there on a long weekend, so they were busy! The man in the concierge helped me a lot, he spoke in English, too. It was very convenient for me, because even when he saw my Identification, he still spoke in English. They were stern about the no smoking, but being a non-smoker it was no problem. Shockingkly, I smelled the pungent scent of cigar upon entering my room. I like that the rate included breakfast and private bath, you wouldn’t get that in Taipei. It was near Chikkan Tower, and restaurants.

It is really smoke-free. I'm happy the hotel keeps the rule strict. Last time I was at another hotel nearby. They were of similar pricing but the smoke suffocated me. Clean bed, clean toilet, room was big enough.

I like the location, close to cental. I like the bathroom.

At night, the surrounding area looks like red light district (lots of gaming places). On the 2nd day I did not get drink water from hotel

The staff is nice and very comfortable to talk to them. The facility is clean and good ambiance.

The bedsheets in the room that I stay is not clean. But comfortable to sleep.
