Just Palace Hotel

The hotel is very nicely decorated, everything from the entrance to the hotel rooms. The staff are all pleasant, helpful and responsive. The bed is firm enough, we would have liked it to be a little softer, but it was still perfectly fine. It is not rock hard. There was a small fridge that could keep a few bottles of drink chilled. There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel. At the back there is a grocery store that is open 24/7. It takes about 15 minutes to go to the nearest subway, which is still perfectly fine. The hotel is not super central, so if you want to do a lot of things in the city and don't want to go every day, you might want to look at a different hotel. We liked living on the outskirts as it is a bit quieter to live outside the city central.

The breakfast is not particularly varied for us who come from Europe, the breakfast is more focused on the Asian market. The fridge is a bit too small and has difficulty keeping drinks properly cold, especially during the summer when it can get very hot.

Good ambience, quiet and respectful guests (tourists or otherwise), very good breakfast. Complimentary coffee in lobby. Quiet-closing doors to rooms. Very good toilet and shower…good electrical switches for all lights in room.

The TV was too complex to operate. No instructions in English for its operation.

I liked the behavior of the staffs and there friendly attitude. They helped me sort out nearest places to visit.. They took care of everything we needed.

The room is clean and the people who cleans the room is really considerate. The room is equipped with office desk which is convenient for business people. The lobby provides free drinks which refresh the mouth when you are coming back from outside (hot weather). The location is good with lots of restaurants and a supermarket (carrefour) just downstairs.

The double bed is small for 2 adults sleep together. If you have 2 it would be nice to order twin bed.

It is cozy and suitable for family. The room size is also quite spacious. The breakfast buffet was good with sufficient spread for me n family. Cleanliness 10/10! Staff were friendly The area of the hotel was quite accessible to MRT( about a 10-minute walk). There is also a 24-hour supermarket, 7-Eleven, and pharmacy just directly opposite the hotel.

Location is a bit far from tourist attractions but there are buses and underground train station within walking distance. The property looks new, beautifully decorated both lobby and guest room, good size shower room with modern Japanese style toilet bowl. Love the complimentary hot fresh delicious self made hot coffee at the lobby and cold tea. Front desk staffs are nice and friendly.

Nice location with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. You can easily walk to the MRT, to local parks, and it's quiet because it's not on a major street. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a fairly luxurious bathroom.

Wifi was slow and unresponsive at times (though it worked okay at other times). The lobby is fairly basic - not much in the way of coffee, snacks, etc. Location is pretty far from center of Taipei unless you take Uber.

I chose the hotel for the location in Neihu (close to where I had work for a few days). It is also close to the metro line, which made weekend site seeing easy. Also close to the path along the river (if you are a runner) and an excellent small night market (food focused and not touristy). I thought the room was good for the price, but did not use any other hotel amenities.

The room size was ok for a family of 4. Beds were comfortable. A bit disappointed that they didn't provide a bath tub. Kids would have loved it! The front staff was very nice and helpful. Parking is for free for those who stay in the hotel and there're enough parking places available! Many small eating places near the hotel, even Carrefour Market on the 1st floor. Very comfortable!

- Room was clean but a little bit dusty. Some of our family members are allergic and they had a touch time to hold back sneezing. - The room rate included two adults and two kids but breakfast set (buffet is closed due to the pandemics) was provided only for 2 adults. Food quantity was not enough, so we basically just gave our breakfast to kids and bought breakfast for ourselves later after check out. We've stayed in similar room type before in other hotels and they always provide meal for kids as well. Kind of disappointing. Apart from the above mentioned, the overall experience was ok!

-Well-appointed, large, comfortable room. Perfect for a nice weekend away, or just for hiding from the world. -Staff were courteous and friendly, and spoke fluent English. -Decore hit the seemingly impossible "sweet spot" between whimsical and classy. -The bathtub was exquisite! -We loved the comfy private balcony. -Although Neihu is a bit out of the way, it's a lovely area. There were a lot of restaurants and coffee shops in the area, but the hotel was blissfully quiet.

-A microwave in the lobby or on each floor would be a nice touch. -There wasn't really a convenient place to hang hand towels and washcloths.
