Few minor inconveniences that were annoying: Booked us in for Tepinyaki but found out it was closed Booked in for dinner on the beach but found out the kitchen was closed a few hours before Woke up early to blow up balloons/banners for partners bday that staff were aware of only for them to be taken away by the cleaner that day Had post/parcels that we kept having to ask for and still didn't get all that we thought we had Monkeys were nice but a little scary when they come right up to you DON'T PAY FULL PRICE FOR THE FERRY!! You can get a cheap long boat from Ao Nang beach for 100 baht each, not the 1500 that the hotel charge

Fantastic location, stunning views out across the sea. Really attentive staff. All you could want is on site...canoes, stand up paddling, pool, restaurants, spa etc. really really great place

A bit difficult to get in to town, the monkey trail is doable but you get very sweaty. The resort is also very spread out so to get from our room to the beach/pool/breakfast it was a sweaty 5 min walk, with lots of stairs.

Amazing island and amazing views.

Accessibility is a big problem if you are reaching late.. had to hire a Private boat to reach the property as hotel has their own schedule and ends at 11pm. I booked a boat and regretted after sitting in it thinking whether I will make it or not in such crooked boat.

1) dont book the room with jakuzi, its toooo far away from the pool and the sea. you have to climb for like 5-10 mins to get to your room. 2) monkey trail is too tiring to walk when there is no boat :(

Almost all staff were very authentic and warm. It actually felt like they truly cared to help make the guests' experience the best they could. Specifically, I would call out our interactions with Arvin, who displayed exceptional patience, gentlenesss and pure kindness towards us as we dealt with an important logistics issue that took up quite some time and discussion. Thanks in large part to the character displayed by him and his colleagues, not only were our accommodation needs fully met, but the character they showed us made us feel humbled, grateful, and appreciative to be a guest amoung such dedicated and caring staff. The food is incredible. They offer the best breakfast buffet we have experienced in our travels. Their Japanese Teppanyaki chef is also fantastically skilled, and their Thai buffet dinner in front of the beach is not to be missed. We were completely happy with the food choices, which did not leave us wishing we somewhere else or closer to other restaurants. Regarding the location, it's a beautiful secluded beach just around the rocks from the famous Railay Beach, both of which are only accessible by boat, and a short 10 minute walk across the Monkey Trail to Ao Nang beach and town. As is with anything in life, there are always things that can be improved upon, but overall, we give an honest and very deserving 9 out of 10 stars to Centara for this wonderful experience and look forward to staying there again in the future. Very highly recommended!

Only some small details that vary in importance from person to person. E.g. modernized / upgraded room technology with multiple conveniently located electrical outlets and direct USB charging. Distances to some rooms can be quite a walk (but they do offer free rides around the resort). Improved attention to detail regarding cleaning of rooms and outdoor ammenties where hygiene concerns can become a topic.

Stunning views from the room, nice pool and private beach

Lots of stairs (probably not the best place for families with small kids/ disabled persons). To get to town you can either take a monkey trail (which is steep) but it’s ok for persons who don’t mind a bit of a hike. Otherwise you can take a shuttle boat to the pier and from the pier you can take a Tuk tuk to Ao Nang which costs around 150 tbh (one way). Prices at the hotel are much higher then in town for food/ drinks. Hotel has amazing views but it looks a bit old and probably in need of renovation, but generalny we were happy with our spa room with sea views. Cleaning could be improved.

Its location is very nice. Full access to the beach and its private to this resort. Room was big and with premium interiors. Breakfast was the best. The spread was so huge with so many options. And lot of exotic fruits and cheese was available at breakfast. Best we had in thailand.

Our room had a bath tub, but unfortunately it needed some repair to not let the water drain. We couldnt use it ultimately even after reporting this 2-3 times to room service. No one attended even after complaining in reception. To our luck, the shower area drain was clogged (may be) and the water wasnt draining there. Only one of us could take bath and the other had to manage from the pool area. Not sure if its only our room that had problem, but yeah, we had to go through this while everything else was premium and up to the mark.

It is a great setting and the room and views were superb. We had booked an premium deluxe ocean view and were upgraded to include a Jacuzzi which had the benefit of giving us a top floor room and great views. Super for lying by the pool and looing out over the sea.

The hotel has the potential to be stunning but there are a number of things that let it down. 1. There are not enough sunbeds for the guests. In such circumstances it would be sensible to remove towels from beds that had not been occupied for a certain length of time and to buy more beds. 2. The hotel is only accessible by boat (as clearly noted) which means dinner will be at the hotel. The hotel has four restaurants but with two being Japanese and Indian, specialist tastes? then there is a bistro which was fine and the Thai restaurant which was very disappointing. The setting was fine but the food was the worst we had on our seventeen. Our experience confirmed the poor ratings on trip advisor. 3. The hotel is getting tired.

The property is stunning and very private. good escape from the other very busy nearby beaches. The room view was just incredible and we had a huge balcony. our room was very comfortable. the pool and beaches are well maintained. I cannot say enough about how great the staff is. They are some of the nicest people I’ve ever encountered.

The isolation of the hotel has its downfalls. The only way to connect you from Krabi town is the monkey trail which is very dangerous and not well maintained. my husband injured his foot on a loose plank. They need to maintain a better path for the safety of the staff and visitors. there was also very limited options for tours from the hotel so there’s no way to avoid not taking the trail. there was no concierge there to help the whole time we stayed. the front desk helped us book one tour but they didn’t have much information about it. A boat taxi to and from Krabi town from the dock a few times a day would really help this problem.

The hotel and the location are stunning. Surrounded by nature. You can still walk to Aonang if you cross the Monkey Trail (10 min walk). The garden rooms are spacious and clean and we could put the babybed in the corner. People are very nice and the Japanese restaurant (open Fri-Sat) are excellent.

Not much healthy options or vegetarian options for lunch and diner. That also made it hard to give our baby healthy food. Prices for food are high. There is an additional 7% Vat and 10% service fee.
