Kokotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 50 - SHA Extra Plus

It´s a very nice accomodation alternative in Bangkok for those who don´t (!) come for nightlife entertainment, who don´t (!) need a fancy place to stay, and who don´t (!) care for a pool or any recreation facilities. Its a well maintained and quiet place to stay for those who know Bangkok and who are simply looking for a clean place to stay without people around you actually don´t wamt to meet. The housekeping is excellent.

There were already some signs of use in our room like a sofa with a lot of spots. There was a kitchen area which was equipped with water cooker and microwave, just two water glasses, two cups, and some forks and spoons - but not a single plate or dish.

- 5min walk from BTS - surroundings have many restaurants and super market - surroundings clean and safe - Rooms and beds are really clean, new and comfortable

- my room was just beside the street and just opposite of my room, there is a restaurant. the staffs there made loud noise in the late night and I couldn’t sleep. the street can be noisy with cars or passed by. may be need to ask other rooms then the ones just beside the street - in the living room, there is a TV and a dining table and chairs but with no sofa. so, if they can put a small sofa, that would be perfect !

Staff were really friendly (especially the cleaners), rooms were very spacious and is within walking distance to Lotus supermarket nearby.

I understand it is for eco-friendly that bottled water were not provided, but the jars to get water the water were not replaced daily so as I was staying for more than 10 days, I had concerns regarding the cleaniness of them and stopped using them on the 2nd day and got my own water from Lotus instead...which is a pity.

Location was fantastic. Sukhumvit 50. Close to the metro, taxi stand, shops, bars and restaurants. We were given a free upgrade which was fantastic. Larger room. Bed was super comfy, two pillows each. Fridge, kettle, hairdryer all in the room. Really like the water option. No more plastic bottles, but lidded carafes that could be filled from a water dispenser in the corridor. Breakfast was in the roof terrace. Great views. Had to judge times as sometimes there were not enough tables, but chef did a mean spicy omelette! Staff very helpful

Nothing - being picky, maybe two towels each instead of one.

The location is excellent with bts, a big mall, street food, multiple 7-11s, nightlife and lots more nearby. The staff shines, and made my stay better I got a high floor room which I loved. Laundry machines are helpful and easy to access

wish there was a gym. Even a few machines would be excellent. I extended my stay and got a low floor room. Beds are super comfortable but I would not stay on a low floor again. There is a noisy rooster!

Botched the booking, thought I booked another Koko Hotel in Bangkok, that looked more oriented to kids. Toilet got clogged, without flushing any paper or hygiene products. Location might be good for Sukhumvit area, but is bad if you are a first-time-in-Bangkok-Wat-visitor or probably equally bad if you are a Khao San Road zealot. As of Nov 2021, Sukhumvit area goes very quiet at night with only some hidden places alive, one happening to be just across the hotel, which leads to the last thing I didnt like. Noise from the bar right across the street, under my window, that closed at 3am twice.

All staff are wonderful,except one,who we saw,seemed to be commenting negatively about other guests and also replied us abit rudely Breakfast is good but better if more variety(eg yogurt,congee)

We had a great stay at the hotel. First and foremost, the staff was extremely friendly and provided very valuable information regarding markets and even specific shops that we were interested to explore. The hotel was clean, the rooftop restaurant was very nice and served excellent breakfast and the location was perfect, just next to the air train line, with quick connection to many different points of interest in the city.

Good value for the price, close to massage and Tesco supermarket, it also has a laundry machine on the ground floor which I appreciate so much since we change clothes every now and then because of the heat and we sweat a lot. the security is superb, cannot go to the room without your keycard to be tapped on the elevator. quiet neighborhood too.

Very clean place with a nice rooftop. There is a huge supermarket nearby as well as a small cosy bar street and a food street :-) Its also just by the On Nut BTS stop which means your easily connected to the city

There is not a lot of light in the rooms and there are no further facilities like a pool or gym but that’s of course a choice you make when staying here. Same goes for the location which is a bit further from city centre. Perfectly doable with the BTS (!) but when you intend to rely on cab’s, be prepared things may take very long do to traffic
