Siam Eco Hostel

- The location is really near Ratchathewi station which I found very convenient. It is one station away from Phaya Thai (airport link) and Siam (for those who want to go to Siam Paragon, etc.). It also surrounded with food stalls and a 7-11. - The receptionist is super kind, accommodating, and approachable. She speaks and understands English very well so it was easy to communicate. She and her other 2 staff are always smiling. The 2 kind ladies always make sure the place is clean and sparkling. - As a solo traveller, I felt safe staying there because each room is built with a smart door lock and only tenants can go in. Beyond 8 pm, you can enter the hotel by swiping a white card which also adds security. - The hotel has a common area where you can eat, watch tv, talk with others, or just chill. You can’t also make loud noises after 10 pm. - The floor where I stayed (3rd flr) has only a female comfort room. I think it depends if you pick a female or mixed bedroom. - For Filipinos 🇵🇭, many kababayans stay there. I just approached them and we shared stories and recommendations where to go and eat. - The room and beds are clean. I had a good sleep. - I checked out at 12pm and the receptionist allowed me to leave my luggages at the lobby to go explore some places more. I was also allowed to use the toilet to freshen up before I left for the airport. - The price is relatively cheaper than others given all the positive remarks I wrote above.

- The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. It was really a struggle bringing my luggage upstairs at the 3rd flr (I think the hotel has 5 flrs, although you can leave your other luggages at the lobby). - The shower stalls give off a slight sewage smell at night. The smell kinda disappeared in the morning. - The breakfast only includes cereals, packaged milk and soy milk, biscuits, and bananas.

I kept on coming back here because… Near the BTS (Ratchathewi, Phaya Thai) Near to Airport Rail link Near 7-11 SO many food options around the area MBK, Siam Paragon is just walking distance Its also few minutes away from Platinum mall, Pratunam Market Offers free breakfast (cereals w/ milk, biscuits/custard cakes, coffee, cocoa, banana) Squeaky clean environment (floors, common areas, shower/toilet, rooms) Good wifi The owner/staff will greet you by name - the kind of greeting that will make you feel at home (most especially for a solo traveller like me. 🤍) …and the list goes on! 💕 I know some reviews says that it has low water pressure on some shower rooms, well thats true but its totally not a deal breaker — you can still shower! 😂 its like giving you more time to scrub, scrub, scrub! Haha

Location: Near the Ratchathewi BTS and Platinum Mall is like a 10-15 minute walk. Service: Front desk was extremely helpful. Bed: So comfy.

Stairs: Not great for someone with bad knees. But then again, maybe older people won't be staying at a hostel. Roommate: Though it wasn't the hostel's fault. I had a very confrontational roommate who fought the other people staying in our dorm, which gave me a little anxiety, but the front desk handled it well.

1. Super Location:  30 secs walk to BTS Station,  10 mins  walk to MBK centre, 10 mins walk to Siam. Convenience stores, local food stores  are around. 2. Clean : I appreciate the cleaners clean the rubbish bins in the toilets few times per day. 3. Very friendly Staff: due to my medical situation, I keep on modifying my booking, but the staff tried their best to help me and arrange my bookings to my conveniences. 4. Conmon area: Nice and spacious. 5. Every bed gets their own light, power point and curtain. 6. The bed is comfortable

1. The room is quite crowded, not much space to move around 2. The water supply of the shower is weak. 3. More hooks should be done inside the toilets and shower rooms. Not much spaces for you to put things in the shower room. 4. No rubbish bin in the dorm room. 5. Breakfast is very basic,no bread is provided. Tips:  book the 6 beds or 8 beds dorm room! they are much more spacious than the 4 beds dorm and u also get window for the cityview!

This is the cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff is amazingly friendly and easy to talk to. The dorms and toilets are nice and clean. There is a big kitchen and common area with televisions, multiple seating areas, iron, and utensils for your own food. Free breakfast and snacks available 24/7, and a refrigerator to store your food as well. The location is perfect. It’s right at the BTS Ratchathewi. You can hear street noise inside of the hostel but it’s very low and nothing that will disturb your sleep at night. The beds are super comfy and have one outlet, light, one normal pillow and one small pillow. I had to check out 3 nights early due to an unexpected death in my family. The staff was very understanding and I will definitely return to this hostel in the future. I expect it to now be my go to lodging for Bangkok. I stayed in the 6 bed female dorm.

Just few steps from sky train station. It is very clean n tidy. Staff are nice n helpful.

The rooftop is open from 08:00 to 20:00 only, it is not convenient for laundry. The kitchen is not installed with stove, you cannot cook.

Frontdesk and cleaners are really passionate about their job always serving with a smile. Front desk Ms Lee and her colleague are really friendly and you can find hostel mates chatting with them at the counter from finding out best spots to visit in town to learning thai words. Cleaners are honest and friendly, they found someone's wallet and returned to the frontdesk. They kept entire building clean, from front door to toilets, bed room and laundry area. Lounge area is clean and comfortable, we hangout and made friends and also a good clean space to co-work. Place has adequate sunlight within the buidling, hence the place is a happy place to be in. BTS and lots of street food is just beside the hostel. Multiple 7-11 around, no need to even cross the road. Very nutritious breakfast, fresh milk, cereals, tea, coffee and bananas are provided. If i am ever in bangkok, i will stay here again due to its comfort and location.

Not really, but a note to brief check in guest: 1. Some first time hostel users must be aware to plug in earphones instead of blasting music in their own capsule, no matter how soft the volume is. 2. Users should not spray perfume or aerosol products like hairspray/deodorant/hairspray etc. They end up polluting the entire room with their fragrance causing sneezing to the others.

It's clean. The shared toilet and shower are exceptionally clean. Each toilet cubicle has both bidet and tissue paper (with spare). Bath soap and shampoo are always refilled The common lounge/area is also inviting and clean, and they have a common pantry that serves its purpose well. Staff are friendly and helpful when we asked for directions and suggestions on where to go. They also helped us with getting a transpo for daytours that are quite far.

I just wished they allow children (below 12 yo)

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff of the hostel supported my friend's trip and I a lot, they are very friendly. We have 4 people just enough for 1 room with bunk beds very comfortable and private. Everything is clean and cool. You will be able to see the scene of the busy traffic intersection of Bangkok, it is beautiful. BTS station is also very close.

Great wifi, I even worked for a day while staying there doing zoom calls and not once it disappointed me. Comfortable bed and curtains to make it a bit more private. AC worked perfectly. Location was great, a lot of food options around, right next to a 7/11, ten - fifteen minute walk to 4 shopping malls. Close to the BTS station and aerolink. Great staff too

The lockers are too small, the dorms feel small too. No windows in the rooms. Breakfast is really simple just with cereal, coffee, a few biscuits and bananas. You can walk around with any sort of shoes, not even flip flops which is a bit annoying.
