Sukhon Hotel - SHA Plus

The hotel is right in front of Phaya Thai BTS station, within “one” minute, you can walk to the entrance of the main overground route of Bangkok, with easy connecton to MTR lines (underground). It save you the trouble of the congestion on the roads. Phaya Thai is also the city terminal of Airport rail link, the entrance is on the other side of the hotel within 2 minutes walk. I like travel and had been to many places around the world, never had I found a hotel that is so easy for getting around with public transport. The deluxe twin room I booked is not big, but has every facility for a comfort stay. It has double window, so you won’t be disturbed too much by outside noises. The hotel is family run with good management, every one there is so sincere and eager to help. Breakfast is served individually and has two options for alternate days, good variety with right small portions for a complimentary meal.

Nothing deserves mention. What can you ask more for the rate offered by this hotel. Many so called 4 stars hotels in London are miles behind.

The location. Near the airport rail link and BTS station, only 2 stations away from Siam center so it is easy to get around. The staffs are so welcoming, kind and attentive. Breakfasts are good too with local and Western (I guess?) choices and served with good local blended coffee. The room is clean and has comfy beds, the toiletries (shampoo, lotion, etc.) all smell very good, no wonder it is said that they're popular with guests and you can actually order them at the reception.

Nothing. We read beforehand that there might be noise from train going but maybe we were so tired from walking all day so we slept very well and barely heard that sound.

Very handy for BTS which is right outside the front door and airport rail link so getting around the city was easy. Room was good , not large but reasonable and very clean. Breakfast was good both American or Thai style. A good hotel for the price and when you need an early start for the airport.

Not a complaint but traffic noise from the main road is noticeable. All the hotels on this road would have same noise issue so dont hold it against this one. A light sleeper night want to consider ear plugs but we were on the 5th floor at the rear and could here the odd train and traffic noise but it wasnt anything serious to worry about .

The Sukhon hotel is very close to transport links, the Airport train link and BTS Skytrain is directly outside, as well as a busy road where you can immediately get a taxi. Many shops, street food vendors, restaurants and ATM's close by. I found the rooms very quiet and the staff very helpful. I would highly recommend a stay, whether it be a few days or a few weeks. The local blend coffee was great!

There is nothing I can think of to complain about, for the small amount of money I paid the quality and service at Sukhon exceeded expectations

1. Close proximity to Airport Rail and BTS at Phya Thai. 2. Very friendly staff. 3. Very comfortable and clean room. 4. Toiletries are very nice and can purchase. 5. Very nice breakfast and coffee. 6. Sound from the Rail way and trains not as loud that we were worried earlier. Still acceptable.

1. Not able to watch foreign TV programmes(no signal) but we make do logging in TV app watching YouTube on TV. Only local TV programmes still available.

Location is just right next to Phaya Thai BTS station and the Airport Link Phaya Thai terminal. Staff are nice and well trained. Room is clean,

The room given to me is facing the main road and BTS station, as well as the old train track. If you are a light sleeper, you will have trouble sleeping till around midnight and be ready to be easily woken up by the hustle and bustle below early morning.

Next to BTS station and train connection to airport, cannot get better than this. Room was clean, very nice shower. Provided breakfast was nice but had just 2 options which can get boring on long stays. Staff friendly.

Rooms are small. Train tracks runs next to hotel and passing main road, so road sound signal and those old noise trains start to pass at morning which can be annoying, but on bright side free alarm clock early morning.

Super big, comfy bed. Location was excellent - right next to ARL and opposite had a 7 Eleven. Super convenient to get to other places from Phaya Thai. We explored Siam and Makkasan easily! Room came with a fridge, towels, super nice soaps, water, strong air condition, hot shower. Free breakfast (we went for Thai option) was delicious and generous.

TV didn't work at all (couldn't change channels) despite trying to change remote controls - staff tried to help but unfortunately TV sensor wasn't working and hotel was fully booked! Pls note they also don't provide complimentary toothbrushes/toothpaste, so bring your own!

The breakfast was well-organized and sufficient to start one's day in Bangkok. Three options are available and each was tasty. The location is fantastic for coming and going to BKK airport. The staff were polite and very helpful.

The train warning goes off a few times each day and evening. It's a busy city and traffic is heavy. Amazingly once the front door closes, the noise is not noticieable ( except for the the train signal.).
