I will first start that Advice Lodge is 15 minutes away from the airport by taxi. The room was exceptionally cozy, and the bed and pillows were so very comfortable. Beautifully decorated, with a nice view of the peaceful neighborhood. There was complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits which were highly appreciated after our long journey. The bathroom was spotless, good quality shampoo and body wash, and all the hot water you can want. There was also information magazine provided by John on Inverness and things you can do in the area. The lodge is only a short 10 minute walk from the centre of Inverness. It is also within walking distance of the train station. I would like to extend a massive thank you to John and his son Jack, who saved the day as Jack gave us a lift all the way to Ullapool so we don't miss our whale and dolphin watching tour . This act definitely cemented our already great impression of Advie Lodge and how helpful the host was. We are already looking forward to coming back and recommend the lodge far and wide, as you definitely get way more than the money you spend.

I just loved this place. The decor was all Scotland, and very tasteful. The home and neighborhood were lovely and close to town. The family was helpful and pleasant. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Nice room, more spacious than the photo. Very quiet street.

There was a misunderstanding and we weren't expected, so had to wait until the room was made ready.

The family was very kind and even loaned me a pair of sunglasses until I finally found a pair I liked. The neighborhood was quiet and the people were friendly.

A B&B without breakfast was a shock since it was advertised as having breakfast on booking.com. Parking was insufficient. The family had to move their cars so we could park and had there been more than two of the five rooms booked I am not sure where we have parked since there are only two spaces and we can’t park on the street without a permit.
