The location is excellent. It is next to Lime Street Station. The hotel is basic and clean. It offers a continental breakfast. Staff are helpful. Rooms were serviced. It is a budget hotel, it doesn't do meals and it doesn't have a bar but everything you require for meals and drinks is close by. Couples, groups of friends, families and people of all ages stayed there. The price is the most competitive I can find in Liverpool. I will definitely be staying again.

Everything was great for our group. The decor is dated but given the price, we weren't concerned. The lift wasn't working at the time we stayed, you may need to confirm it is operational if people have limited mobility.

We went out for cooked breakfast. The room was clean and value for money. The staff were all very pleasant knowledgeable and friendly.

We didn't like the fact that the lift wasn't working and we had to. carry heavy bags upstairs. It still wasn't working two days later, I'm a senior citizen and my granddaughter is pretty dainty so we couldn't really :help each other much. I felt so sorry for the Chamberlain carrying cleaning equipment and bales of towels. I could hear traffic late at night, Windows need replacing.

Its very close to Lime Street which was a bonus for me being able to get the train quickly. Also, there are a good number of shops nearby so location wise is great. The staff were very friendly and welcoming too. The price wasnt bad considering its location and the room size was suitable for me along with the bathroom. I could barely hear any noise with the window closed, especially considering Lime Street is close by.

The only thing I would mark down is the condition of the carpets that run through the hallways. They are stained and pulled up in areas.

The continental breakfast was a nice surprise and very nice choice. The staff there exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms were cleaned and towels refreshed every day which was such a blessing.

The lift was out of order, and for someone with mobility issues (both my mom and myself have a leg issue) this is hard going up and down. Some of the rooms would benefit from a decorative update.

The hotel is very close to Lime Street Staion. It is central to the shopping area and the area of culture. The hotel is clean, very helpful and friendly staff. Also we were offered a complimentary continental breakfast. We would definitely book again.

Only issue was no hot water from the shower. Spoke to reception and the issue was sorted straight away

Breakfast was very good and plenty of choice. The location of the hotel is perfect. Just one minutes walk to and from Liverpool Lime Street Station. Hotel is situated in the theatre district. Just a couple of minutes walk to and from the city centre.

There was a slight problem with the hot water in the room. This was resolved by turning on the hot tap in the sink and the shower at the same time. Leave for a minute or two and the hot water in shower was fine.

Very accessible location, if you leave Lime Street Station from the right exit - it's a 20 second walk. Room was simple, but fine. Staff were very pleasant and everything felt relatively straight-forward.

Never a good sign when the bathroom contains step-by-step instructions on how to get hot water to work. The decor was a bit dated, but you get what you pay for.

Excellent location, right next to Liverpool lime. Very helpful front desk, who provided us with ice and another fan when we complained about the heat in the room. Bathroom was huge.

We were on the attic and it was stifling hot. To open the window, it required a stick, which took us a while to figure out how to use it. Even after the window was opened, it was still very hot in the room. Elevators weren't working, so there are stairs to climb.

The Lord Nelson is part of some past fantastic memories for me and has become part of another one this time. I always feel welcome the minute I walk through the front door, and I have always slept well there. The staff are very friendly, accommodating and very helpful.

I have to say there is nothing I didn't like.

I like everything about this hotel. This was my 3rd stay here and certainly not my last. It's right by the train station as well and there's a pub close by lol

The only think I didn't like was the seating area downstairs being closed. Fair enough the bar wasn't open but there's I harm really in sitting downstairs and browsing the internet or reading a book. I think that's something that needs to change
