OYO The Baltimore Hotel

Have stayed there before and will stay there again, the room was a fair size, sheets were spotless and toilet spotless, dislike the washbasins in the rooms I have stayed in, they are more suited to a small cloakroom but that is my only grumble,I am a wet shaver and like to thoroughly rinse my face and neck after the shave, the basins here are suited to a handwash,. The safe off-road, parking is a bonus,no complaints with the breakfast. The staff all friendly and helpful and one young lady is a credit to that hotel in every way, who went well above her duties in helping us when my wife was taken unwell and we had to leave the hotel and her name is CHELSEA, a terrific helpful young lady, don't lose her Baltimore, she is a bonus to your company and personal thanks to you CHELSEA .

Not a lot really, though clean in all ways we found some tidying up of repair work could be finished off to a better standard, little things, like a long length of plastic strip, has been removed from the outside of the shower unit but the bodge workmanship never bothered to remove the old glue off the tiles, several things like this, if your going to do a job do it wel and bleach the joints between the tiles, minor things that take moments to rectify but does not deflect how good a value and service The Baltore is. And change those hand fit for cloakrooms only wash basins.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. Food was really nice. Room was small but modern. Could do with a few repairs to things like bed side light, heater, toilet seat and shower door however my friend stayed in the room next door and had no issues. I'm hoping our room was due to be upgraded as I have no.other issues and it's the perfect venue for our annual visit to the area. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

Few repair issues in room and when I stripped beds on leaving, quilt and pillows were a bit grubby. Definitely need a curtain that fits the window.

Lots of free parking. We were given a spacious room. In addition to normal heating, it had a fan heater and a fan. The location is an easy flat walk into town - about 20 minutes to all destinations. Staff were very helpful and the waitress at breakfast was exceptional. Breakfast was of a very good standard and included nice extras like juices, a wide selection of fresh fruit and croissants.

Soundproofing is not great, which is to be expected in a hotel of this type. Not much can be done about this, as the noise was coming from other guests who show little or no concern for anyone but themselves. Again, this can happen anywhere these days.

Beautiful building. Clean rooms & fresh soft towels. Staff are lovely & caring. Have stayed 6 times this year & have become good friends with all staff. They go above & beyond to make your stay the best ever.

There's nothing I dislike about this hotel or the staff which is why it's the only hotel I will stay at when I'm over. Either alone,as a couple or as a family as we've done all 3 this year. I've stayed at other hotels in Middlesbrough but none beat the Baltimore.

Location around a mile and abit walk into boro town centre and a mile to the stadium , nice breakfast and a bar avaliable with reasonable prices - over all clean property and good value for.money perfect for football or concert stay over very friendly staff

Bathroom has been renovted at some point but shower quite grotty

Its very rare in the modern day to be really pleased with service providers and staff.The management team are a credit to your Hotel I have stayed in many hotels around Europe but found this one to be the most honest and friendly to be open about upgrading but found it brilliant and comfortable.5 Star service with Ballons and help getting to our party venue.

Good location, excellent service from friendly reception staff. Was recommended a meal from the Restaurant across the road which was lovely. Beds comfortable and clean, bathroom and shower however could have had more attention paid to cleanliness. Overall great stay, good price and friendly staff, would stay again.

Breakfast was awful, we had breakfast included and when we went down everyone was complaining they had been waiting for so long. We ordered cups of tea and orange juice, the tea came out but no juice and when we asked they didn’t have a clue. The breakfast to top it off was halal and a 40/50 minutes wait due to having very little staff. We left without eating breakfast.

Breakfast Hotel room had no towels No toilet roll Random people calling the phones Our room stunk of cannabis, we did raise this but we didn’t want to move due to hardly being in the hotel room Walls are very thin, and could hear banging next door and screaming and shouting

Recently refurbished room that was average size and quite ample for my needs. Great value for money. Very helpful and pleasant staff and a good breakfast. Close to some good pubs to eat or there are many takeaways nearby.

Nothing really; a minor point is that the sink is tiny and an odd shape so got wet feet

Breakfast was included and they have tea making items in the room but nothing beats a good old karak desi chai (builder tea) or pink tea. All day served, especially in the winter time :). Something to look into.
