OYO The Old Mill

We stayed in The Woodstore, had an amazing night with the luxury of the hot tub, gorgeous room and facilities. Beautiful views and the staff were lovely, so inviting and helpful. Located in a lovely area, only an 8 minute taxi ride into Yarm. I would definitely recommend, the price for the rooms are amazing and I will definitely stay again. It was a lovely break away. Room was lovely as was the hot tub! Lovely touch gifting us some chocolates, lagers and a bottle of wine in the room upon arrival! Cleaner was very friendly we bumped into her while she was cleaning the upstairs room and we were checking out the hot tub

The shower pressure was very strong and jumpy to begin with. The outside space of the granary suite could do with some TLC, a few of the light bulbs are out at least 5 and the trellis behind the hot tub is all snapped! Hate to be picky but once you’re sat in the hot tub all you can do is look around and you notice things

Very clean Room , bathroom was very clean with a nice berry smell, complimentary Budweiser x2 with a bottle of rose with plastic champagne cups and chocolates, Good response from the woman we contacted about the hottub, very short walk from the Fox covert which serves superb food and drink,

Negative points would be the privacy of the hot tub as it was open and I feel anyone outside could possibly access it, when we got in the hottub the bubbles didn’t work I contacted the staff and they quickly responded and got us an upgrade to a brand new hottub which was 100x better.

A lovely little stay, the rooms were clean and warm. We had the granary room with our own private hot tub and we really enjoyed it. We checked in at 3pm and jumped straight into the hot tub. We then got a taxi into yarm High Street and went for a meal and a few cocktails. We ended up night clubbing and rocking in at daft o clock. We went back in the hot tub. Comes with a complimentary bottle of wine, two bottles of bud and some chocolates which were a nice touch. You are supplied with two robes and towels, coffee machine, hair dryer, teas coffees and biscuits and a iron and iron board. Would definitely go here again.

Beautiful hidden Gem with extremely easy accesss to Croft Race circuit and a FANTASTIC private hot tub in the granary room. We received a guide how to check in before we arrived, and collected our key upon arrival and it the Granary room was beautiful, ultra modern and a lovely quite secluded garden with a amazing hot tub.

Only annoyance was the timed light in the shower turns off too quick but literally that’s it. The place is beautiful and clean.

absolutely beautiful property in a quiet, safe and peaceful location right in the country with a local pub offering great food nearby- what’s not to like? Andy and Zoe who own it are so friendly, chatty and an interesting couple to talk with- it’s great to talk! As a cyclist I had access to safe country roads (with careful drivers!!) and a few hills with magnificent views- I loved the stay!!

We spent the night before and of our wedding at the Old Mill and the ladies who run it could not do enough for us. They were absolutely wonderful. Complimentary drinks throughout our stay, they decorated our room beautifully for us and even offered us one of the suites so that my friends and I could get ready together. They were amazing to us and so so friendly and kind. I’d absolutely come here again.

immaculately clean & very friendly reception. perfect for an overnight stay for a party. Wish we’d managed to book a room with a hot tub - they looked amazing! Delicious breakfast in local pub.

the addition of a fridge (there is plenty of room) would be great - even a small one to keep drinks cold. We slept with the front door open as it was a very hot night - could do with a window that could be opened.

Absolutely gorgeous night and was just what we needed - a little break from everything . Beautiful scenery , gorgeous room beautifully decorated for Valentine’s Day. All clean and tidy and everyone very friendly. Would definitely recommend this to my friends and family and will definitely be revisiting again in a few months :)

Fantastic accommodation. Pub in walking distance and short drive into Yarm. Lovely, renovated rooms. We booked the Wood Store which had private hot tub which was fantastic. Friendly hosts/staff and very thoughtful complimentary drinks and chocs.

The stay was superb. No complaints but we could have used a small fridge in room to keep drinks cool in the hot weather.
