Marriott Shoals Hotel & Spa

The hotel was pretty nice overall. We stayed in a king room with a balcony on the 5th floor. The pool was very nice with a small walk up bar. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel called swampers. The food and service were both very good. There was also live music which was good. The rooms all have balconies with chairs and a small table facing the pool. The bathrooms were huge and nice. There is also a good coffee shop in the hotel.

You can't bring a cooler or outside drinks to the pool. Many people brought drinks in a yeti cup or tumbler. The pool also closed at noon on our second day due to a kid 💩 in the pool. So the next 9 hours it was closed til the next day. The resort is the only thing in this area. The town of Florence is a few miles away.

Beautiful and very comfy. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The pool was exceptional. Swampers’ breakfast buffet was excellent if a little expensive. Our room was clean and quiet. I had an amazing night’s sleep.

The cost seemed a bit excessive. The property is beautiful. I highly recommend.

This is an old property. Pool area great for families. Could use power washing. Exterior looks a little worn. Room was fine. We needed a hotel in the area to play golf at RTJ course. 360 restaurant was very good. Great food. Inexperienced servers but friendly.

Barking dogs for over an hour loose outside the night before we had to leave! They woke me up and I couldn’t get back to sleep! The owners of the dogs were no where to be found! If dogs are going to be allowed they should not be left a line! We will not stay in a hotel that allows pets again!!!!!!!!

Exceptional staff and great location. Spa was wonderful and 360 was lovely and food was delicious!

Bell service was the only staff lacking in excellence. They were nice but not helpful.

Loved the pool areas and that there were two pools one inside and one outside, our room was very nice and big, clean. Also liked that there was a restaurant in the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel is pretty dated, could use a face lift in some areas, would have liked my room cleaned everyday, but they had Covid rules on that, food and drink prices were very high.

I took my wife there for her birthday it was her first time ever being there she was so excited when we pulled up she didn't know we was going it was a big surprise she literally started screaming the Marriott LOL the staff was so beyond helpful they offered to even take pictures of us together which was amazing they were friendly all in all was a great experience her birthday turned out very well she is battling breast cancer and she really needed that

The staff was very friendly.

The room wasn’t completely cleaned. There was food left in the floor around the bed. The shower had hair left in it from the previous guest.

description of room was vague, thought we were getting a good deal for the family but luckily we were 2 people short than plan because room was small and didn’t really fit the description of what we picked.

I loved everything about this hotel! I wanted to get away for a few days just to relax and this was the perfect place to do so!
