Kenai Airport Hotel

For Alaska in the summer, I considered the rates to be very reasonable. The room was clean and comfortable, however, there were several mosquitoes in the room when we first arrived. I would guess that housekeeping left the door open when they were cleaning the room.

The free breakfast was very limited and was not replenished. It was first come first served. It got there about an hour after it opened and there were only a few items left.

The room was really nice. It was immaculate and the color scheme was soft and soothing. Beds were extremely comfortable. The lobby was really nice, too and the staff was great!

Most of the pillows were flat and could stand to be replaced. I am 5'1" and could barely reach the clothes rod in the closet. I needed to stand on my tippy toes to hang my coat up. Additionally, a step stool to get up on the bed would be nice. I needed a little help.

Honestly out of the three hotels my boyfriend and I stayed in, this was definitely the stand out from all of them! Even the way the had little things to offer and they were so professional with a solution when our toilet was leaking late at night. They were even so apologetic about it and told us how they were so excited about us coming back to a new toilet but it was a tough spot to get them in since the size of the new toilet was bigger than the previous one. It honestly bothered them more than us because of how they handled everything and their kind intentions. We actually felt sad parting ways because it felt like we were visiting family. WE DEFINITELY LOVED OUR EXPERIENCE AND WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN!

Check-in was easy, and person at the front desk was very friendly and provided local restaurant recommendations. Coffee, popcorn, and other snack items were available in the lobby. The rates were reasonable for the area. Although across from the airport, it’s quiet. There isn’t that much activity at the airport.

It would be nice to have more out for breakfast. Lobby wasn’t open until 8 a.m.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The area was nice and quiet, so I got a good night's sleep. I mainly stayed here due to location. It is right across from the airport.

I could see some daylight at the bottom of the exterior door so needs a little repair. I did see some dust in the corner of the bathroom that was missed in cleaning. Overall it was clean though.

We stayed here with the anticipation of going into Seward where hotels are quite a bit more expensive. It was a fantastic stay. The only issue is the walls are a little thin, so your neighbors have a big say on how well your stay is going to be.

Really close to the airport and the softball fields. Staff were amazing. Beds were comfortable and the shower was large. Mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and breakfast. We were good to go :)

Lighting was a bit dark, but nothing terrible.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and it's easy to get to anywhere in Kenai and Soldotna. The facility and guest rooms are clean although the decor is very dated.

The bathroom had the smallest toilet seat I've ever seen in a public setting! If you're larger than average then you'll probably have difficulty.

The room was large; beds were fairly comfortable; I do enjoy an outside entrance. Loved having the sink outside/separate from the toilet and shower.

Wish some sort of breakfast had been offered. The hotel did allow pets in certain rooms, wish I had know prior and could have requested a room away from pets & kids.

Quiet, close to destination, good value

Would have liked laundry facilities that aligned with our schedule. Would have liked more choices for complimentary breakfast. Muffins or other pastries at least.
