Soldotna Inn

The staff is always very kind, cheerful, and helpful. The location is very convenient to the whole Kenai Area. We have two different kinds of rooms, both very neat and clean, comfortables beds and new pillows. The first room with a kitchenette and sink, fully equipt with dishes and cups, etc, the other room with everything you need for a simple meal refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, cups, microwave. Good wifi connection. Nice and complete morning breakfast area. The best part they are pet-friendly!

On a busy street yet Incredibly quiet. Bed was very comfortable.

The room was clean and the staff friendly. Restaurant and bar on site was convenient and served great food. The area weather was hot and so were the rooms but not their fault … they provided a fan and it worked out. I would stay here again next time in Soldotna.

We needed an inexpensive room for 1 night and this more than met my expectations. The beds were comfortable and the rooms look recently redone. It was clean and the breakfast was very satisying.

I have no real criticisms. Great value for the money, excellent location, friendly staff.

I did a previous stay's review and the WiFi signal strength and speed were not good so I put that in the review. Within an hour I got a call from a staff member who explained that they noticed where I had stayed in the hotel the last several times was at the far end of the building and I would have a much better WiFi experience using the restaurant's Wifi. He made sure I knew the name of the WiFi and the password. Pretty impressive customer service. Nicely done Soldotna Inn.

They let our pets come with us. There was cable tv. There was not too much noise at night so my dogs never barked. The beds were pretty comfy. Even our dogs thought so. ;) The staff was great. Coffee was great.

They charged $25 a night for pets.(which is a bit much since the stay was only $69) . Our room was right next to the restaurant and the employees came out for their smoke breaks right outside our room which was nasty. When we arrived there were pebbles all over the carpet in the room so we had to wear our slip ons inside in the room. The breakfast was bleak- I guess standard for hotel food. Cold cereal Bagels ect.... pillows were flat.

The Soldotna Inn is a clean, comfortable lodging, close to the both business and wilderness! Soldotna Creek Park is within walking distance, which was helpful, considering the parking at the "Music in the Park" event, going on through the month of August on Wednesday beginning at 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M.. I will be back!

Good location, clean, comfortable bed. Excellent value. Would stay here again.

Room was a bit hot as others have noted. Not sure why or where the heat is coming from, but it stays well warmer than outdoors. We were there late season though so it was quite cold outside and were able to put the fan in the window which kept it just about right. If mid summer might have been an issue.

We got there late, but the manager answered the emergency phone immediately and took care of all our needs. The room was very clean. The hotel was cognizant of necessary housekeeping during the pandemic.

We overslept and missed the breakfast that was included with our room! If the food was as good as the room was comfortable, we missed out on a feast!

Less than what I expected, but sufficient. Coffee could be stronger, but alright

Coffee was horrible, a kurig would greatly improve the hotel experience. Shower was very slippery, non stick pads would be great.
