Eagle Hotel

the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. she made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. we had a problem with the tv and she even came to the room to help us get it working. the room was big and clean and comfortable. the shower was very refreshing with great water pressure. the view of the mountains was breathtaking, even though I have lived in Alaska for several years and enjoy the mountains where I live, the city itself was not the best location, but the mountains made up for it, and we felt safe at this location

the electrical and technical aspects were out dated. but the internet worked well. outlets were not as convenient as we usually enjoy.

The staff were very friendly. The lobby, rooms were very clean. It is so much better than the Pioneer Motel up the street, which is a nightmare. Eagle Hotel is quiet, clean, and beautifully redone. I highly recommend for solo travelers or families.

My only issue is their check-in process. There is no one at the counter during the day. You have to call a phone number to get checked in and download an app to get your digital key. It was a little strange, but not complicated. But the staff I did encounter were really nice & helpful.

Theattached cafe was very good. Family operated very friendly. when the desk was attended the folks very very friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious and clean and comfortable.

The check in by phone and app. was difficult for us. Would like to suggest two luggage racks to set luggage on. Needs a full length mirror. Room entry door and interior door should be replaced. was kind of a skeptical first impression but was suprised when we got into the room.

We had the king room with private bathroom and it was huge. Bed was very comfortable, armchairs were really comfortable, it was honestly better than I had expected, looking at the building from the outside. Great breakfast place within the hotel as well, with a huge selection of options and great food.

To get to the king room we had, you had to walk up two short flights of stairs, which could be an issue if you can't carry your luggage up.

Very friendly staff and spacious room. They we’re kind enough to receive a mail package for me which was waiting for me in my room upon arrival!

The room was uncomfortably warm and there was no way to adjust the temperature. I kept the window open all night but that was not enough to cool it down to a more pleasant level.

The room was really Big & spacious. WOW!😊 Everything in my toom was clean. The bed slept fine for me, didnt matter cause I was really tired from driving. The restaurant downstairs on main levelwas delicioys & thr coffee was good too. I went to breakfast when the restaurant opened up, so i had fresh coffee. I will be staying here again.

The room was great. The price was good for the room we got.

The “no face-to-face” check in was not to our liking. Having to call to be told to download an app in order to get the key to our room seemed odd. No elevator to the top floor was not ideal for hauling luggage.

Reviews ably described the nice. Clean remodeled rooms. It was the first good room and shower I had in three days after buying-in to bnb's with over-hyped reviews. Words to the wise...when someone says their.room/bnb has no refunds, sight unseen.. Pass It By!

Our room was on the third floor and the elevator only went to the second floor but we had the entire rooftop out of our deck door to sit on which was wonderful I would only suggest that the hotel get some outside chairs and tables for those rooms.

We drove in after midnight and our mobile key didn’t work so a hotel clerk was able to come out to the lobby to get us an actual key. Thank goodness! The hotel and especially our hotel room was very clean and spacious. Loved it!
