We stayed off and on during a two week span of time. Everything was very clean. staff was friendly and helpful. Location was convenient for exploring the area from Anchorage to Hatchers Pass. The parking lot is big enough for all guests. The front entrance is a little tricky if you are trying to push a luggage cart in and out as there is a step that they have covered with a very steep and short ramp. But staff was always handy to help. There is a coin laundry available for guests, the machines were well maintained and clean.

No continental breakfast.

It was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly. I usually will not stay in anything below a guest rating of 8.0 and I prefer 9.0 or higher. I was very surprised when I walked in this place. It is easily a 8.4 or better. I asked and the girl behind the desk said they had a hard winter and a few things went wrong. Everything seemed to be worked out when we were there though.

The restaurant was closed, but I didn’t even realize it had a restaurant when I booked. A local told us the restaurant is actually pretty good. The one thing I REALLY didn’t like that they can easily change is that they didn’t have any half and half with the coffee that was offered in the lobby.

The location had a great view of the mountains and was central-located. Facilities were clean and provided everything our family needed. It was nice they had hot chocolate and coffee in the lobby for us in the morning.

The stairwell was under repairs, so all guests had to use the (one) elevator to access floors above the main level. There weren't any breakfast options even though there was a restaurant downstairs (for lunch and dinner). They were out of extra sheets for the pullout bed, so we had to use blankets.

The maids do a great job cleaning the rooms!!

Your desk clerks are very rude at the Wasilla Alaska grandview inn!! I have stayed eight times maybe in a year, and unfortunately, the desk clerks are the rudest! Eight experiences?? Hmm! Might say they are overworked?? Eventually, any person will break! So, maybe as a business!, you might want to think. Um, it’s you??? I can take one to two, rude individuals? , but consistently?your bar and grill- exceptional!, maid service - also exceptional! The reason why I continue to come back.!

THE ROOM WAS PRETTY BASIC. IT WAS ALSO NOISY -- II COULD HEAR OTHER GUESTS. THE REMOTE CONTROL DID NOT WORK IN MY ROOM AND IT TOOK 4 TRIES TO GET ONE THAT WORKED. THE GIRLS AT THE FRONT DESK WERE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THEY WERE KIND AND ANDHELPED ME OUT. THEY WRE HARD WORKING.

I COULD HAVE USED AND EXTRA BLANKET . SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER BOTTLES WERE TINY TINY.

Housekeeping staff well trained on cleaning and detailing rooms. Not so much for book keeping/charging staff. “Guess they where still in training front desk”. Charged me twice when booked with another third part website then original hotel booked same price for one day. But after looking at statements. They said sorry and refunded. “It’s a learning curve in this day industry. So don’t let this discrimination avoid you from booking. Hopefully they learned from mistakes and continued forward.

Staff was great, room was clean and cleaning crew was very helpful.

Windows were dirty, and parking was difficult to get to at first, we passed by and had to turn around.

Workers are courteous and kept our room very clean. Friendly staff.

Can be difficult to exit the area but also don't know our way around Wasilla.

The restaurant food is way over priced ! Down the street is a Walmart ! refrigerators and microwaves in your room. $18 for a chef salad. It wasn’t a chef salad it was something they put together with lunchmeat. It was ridiculous.

Friendly staff, good coffee, close to shopping.

Steep driveway that would make winter access, egress sometimes difficult, the elevator quit working during checkout time, hearing couples in their room by the elevator having private time.
