Majestic Mountain Inn

The hotel is in a great location near hiking and other points of interest and within walking distance of restaurants and stores. It has a nice overflow parking lot built for vehicles towing trailers. The hotel is not fancy but is clean and staff is friendly. If you get a room on the common area it is nice to sit out on the back patio and enjoy the weather. We have even seen elk. The free breakfast is basic but does include some hot foods like eggs (probably from frozen), bacon, and sausage.

None - it was as expected.

The town of Payson. The hotels grounds are beautiful and very relaxing. The rooms are clean and well kept. It has all the nice amenities. They are also a pet friendly hotel, which is a plus. A two story hotel and only stairs. No elevator. Air conditioning is more than adequate. It keeps room really cold.

The beds were a little hard and the linens were very scratchy. The front room have noise from the main road through town and at times is a bit too loud. Ask for rooms farther back.

this property sits in an amazing location. The big pine trees, and the beautiful surroundings of this hotel are gorgeous. This is one of the most comfortable beds. We have slept in on this entire trip. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful in finding us a restaurant that night. and the food at El Ranchero is excellent. The breakfast is held in a little cabin. I’ll be back of the property, it was a very good breakfast with real eggs, bacon, and sausage. The biscuits and gravy tasted like homemade.

The only thing we could find about this property is the parking is a little tight in front.

The room had good furniture accomodations, nice couch and table, kitchen table, good microwave. The bathroom had granite counter tops and the shower was tile with hot, hot water, nice after hiking/running 10 miles that day on the trails, mostly uphill. There was a bay window and a back door that lead to a back patio and grassy back yard area. All the windows had black out drapes and a sheer set underneeth that. The room colors were fairly neutral, so nothing garrish or harsh on the eyes.

The bed sheets could use a higher thread count. The bed was comfortable though. The grill outside is a good grill, but the slats inderneath the grates were loaded with burned char, which is not a healthy way to grill food, I mean the char was thick.

Everything! This was one of my favorite hotels that I have stayed at this year. I loved that my room had two exit doors. The front door was where I parked my car and the back door lead to this beautiful green back yard area that had comfortable chairs. It was so relaxing to sit outside and look up and see stars. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was a true "nonsmoking" room. One of my favorite aspects of the hotel was the table/shelf across from the sink. It enabled me to layout my luggage and organize myself. I wish more hotels had thoughtful extra's like that. Also the bathtub back was wonderful for relaxing in. I took a long, well needed soak in a tub of hot water before getting ready for bed. I slept soundly. I did not hear my neighbors or any noises for that matter. A well made and situated room. I did ask the front desk where to eat. They suggested Tiny's next door. The serving size is nothing like Tiny. I had the broasted chicken which consisted of 4 pieces of chicken, sides, desert and a salad for less than $14. Everything about this hotel from its staff, to the room, to the location to the price... Exceptional! I highly recommend it!

King Deluxe room was spacious and clean. Had a nice sitting area on your own porch but the mosquitos were so bad I had to go back in. Seriously, swarms of them will attack you if you sit out there. I'm back home and can't stop scratching! Anyway I went to the clubhouse in the morning to get some coffee-which was surprisingly good and ended up grabbing a hot plate of scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage and biscuits and gravy. Just ordinary but nice to have hot food. Ice machine near by. Next time I'll stay when it's cooler so I can use the fireplace and the mosquitos should be gone. Bed was firm but had a plushy mattress cover so it was fairly comfortable for someone who likes soft beds.

Friendly staff, tall pines setting, very dog friendly and proximity to central Payson. Room was adequate and everything worked fine. Liked the double door exit to the grass area.

The room needed a little update. Also, one day needed some clean towels. I went outside and saw an older woman cleaning lady at the next bank of rooms and asked her if I could exchange my dirty towels for clean towels with her. She stated no because the towels she had for her rooms were different from the towels they used in my room. What did that mean😣. Did those people get better towels? Don’t know for sure but I took my dirty towels to the office and exchanged them for clean towels. They didn’t say anything about what type of towels they were nor did they ask what room I was in. Also free breakfast wasn’t so great but there are breakfast places nearby.

My husband and I love this cozy little place. The room and bathroom are large and the porch is great. Property was quiet and close to restaurants. Breakfast is good too.

The sheet on our bed was quite old, the material was badly pilled. And the spa tub (a main perk of staying here) pushed debris out of the jets into the water. I filled it enough to cover the jets and run them to try and flush them out but by the third time, I didn’t want to waste anymore water so we just sat in the hot water without the spa jets.

Room was comfortable and clean. No real complaints at all. Working cold fridge. Bathroom clean, supplies sparse but all there. It's just on the lower budget side, so just don't expect a Hyatt or anything. TV worked fine with many channels. AC worked fine. The stand out here is the continental and friendly breakfast, which is very acceptable, with surprisingly good coffee.

The location was good, short drive to the museum, Zane Gray house, and a lake. Walking distance to a very good restaurant, Fargo’s. The room was clean, and they serve a full breakfast. There was a back door that looked out over a grass area. The location is situated in such a way that you don’t feel like you are right off hwy 260. We actually saw an elk across the street.

The hotel is older, which is not an issue for some. They do allow smoking outside of the rooms. Would be better to designate smoking areas.
