Quality Inn Payson

We traveled to Payson for a concert and the hotel location was within a close proximity of the venue/casino. Everything was good, however; one of the towels that we received was dirty and had a beige stain on it and the room walls were very thin to the point that we could hear the next room guests arguing. The continental breakfast exceeded our expectations as there was more than just juice and muffins so that was a delight. We enjoyed the eggs, sausage, and waffles that were available so A+ to that. The staff was friendly and allowed us to check in a bit earlier than the usual time.

One of our towels were stained and the walls were too thin but it’s an older hotel so I guess it’s expected.

I've stayed here many times over the past few years. It's the perfect spot for a quick and inexpensive weekend get-away, a mere 2 hours from Phoenix, north on the Beeline highway. Easy to go east to Willow Springs Lake for kayaking with your dogs or north to Pine or Strawberry for hiking and local brews. Suite 111 is the best with the fireplace. Thanks to the recommendation of the front desk, I'll always request this pet-friendly unit.

There's a pet area to walk your dog which is much appreciated. However, the doggie poop bags are always empty. The grass can get a little 'poopy' when folks don't bring their own bags.

The stand of Ponderosa Pines in the courtyard of the north and east section were a special bonus! And Michelle, the 3-9 pm receptionist shared with me amazing photos captured on her phone of an elk herd in the parking lot who waited to cross the street until the signal changed. They then crossed patiently single file in the crosswalk! The friendliness of the staff was very refreshing!

Internet connection was weak due to a lightening strike. But the staff invited us to come to the lobby where the signal was stronger to connect to a business zoom call.

Location is great, staff is super friendly and I love that rooms are pet friendly and huge. Bed is pretty comfortable too

Only one thing...rooms need a make-over, fresh carpet, paint, and linens.

Very large room. Great water volume and pressure in the shower/bathtub. I like the fact that the wash basin was located separately from the shower/tub toilet area. Came with a table and 2 chairs, microwave oven, refrigerator, good size closet, great view of the yard/pool.

The old style of mattress, if you get to close to the edge the mattress feels like the bed will tip over.

Everything! Locations, facilities, staff, room size! The room was SO SPACIOUS! They have green areas everywhere, tons of convenient parking and the breakfast was AMAZING

The dog poo 😑 people taking their dog into the green areas and not picking up the poop. We traveled with a 15 month old that was walking on the green areas and he almost grabbed a dog poo 💩 not fun

We loved our room. The breakfast was also VERY GOOD! 👌 The staff were incredible. Kimberly was very kind to allow us to get into our room a bit early. The best thing was walking up to two huge elk walking through the courtyard.

The patio door needed to be fixed. It didn't slide on the track. The track needs to be replaced.

Stayed on the upper level and enjoyed the view from the balcony. Room was good sized and clean. Bed & pillows comfortable. Staff checking in & out were friendly.

I was one day too early to enjoy the complimentary Breakfast. Happened to walk into the bldg where several women were setting up. Very friendly & the area looked quite large with lots of stations for food. Will catch it next time I stay here.

My wife and i got the king room and we got 5 super soft pillows. The hot water was amazingly hot, it made the bath very enjoyable to soak in since my visit was in winter and we couldn't take advantage of the jacuzzi. Overall my stay was to get out of the house and experience a place away from home and I got that so I would give 4/5

Because of Covid the breakfast was just cheap muffins and danishes. The bed was more firm than I would like. My wife and i got the king room and we got 5 super soft pillows. On the other hand our microwave was busted. Which was strange but not a deal breaker. I didnt call the front desk because I didnt need it badly enough but it's something to note. Overall my stay was to get out of the house and experience a place away from home and I got that so I would give 4/5

Close to excellent Sierra Mexican restaurant. Room was extra large. Breakfast was great from which there were many items to choose.

Jacuzzi was not heated, so could not be used, along with pool.
