The KC Motel Show Low

The rooms, linens, etc are exceptionally clean. They show signs of wear, and signs of love. This is obviously a family establishment and they put a lot of love into their service and their guests. For some reason, guests from all over seem to congregate in the parking lot, drag about the benches and chairs, and sit around, chatting and drinking and having fun all evening, card games, shares, etc. Then about 2130 or 2200 things quiet down, everyone goes to bed. Wonderful and peaceful. You can see the stars and Milky Way (celestial and candy).

Nothing. Everything about the hotel was great. Breakfast selection was as expected. Plenty of coffee, Continental-American. Local entertainment was convenient, there are stores, restaurants, & bars within walking distance.

This is a great little old school style motel that reminded me of the kind of places we stayed as a kid crossing the US from NY to California. Quite charming with a mid century vibe. The owner was extremely friendly and asked me several times if everything was ok while apologizing for the noise of a concrete saw for improvements being made to a nearby patio. Very clean and comfortable. A very enjoyable, albeit short, stay.

Really nothing. I suppose the breakfast selection could have been more but it sufficed.

Breakfast location very convenient, accessible. Open time of 7AM a little late for me, however I saw others going in earlier so I'm assuming it opened when staff had it ready. Open time of 6AM better for many whether traveling or on business. Continental breakfast adequate, but may include a few more options...was OK. Coffee was, I'm sorry, horrible! A quality coffee would go a long way with folks that know their coffee and appreciate waking up to that first cup! Starbucks, Dunkin' Donut, at minimum. Costco has great coffee (San Francisco Bay)

Coffee and variety at continental breakfast

I needed to go to Show Low to meet with contractors. I am the POA for a property owned by a friend who is currently in rehab for a broken ankle. The man who took care of me was very nice and quite accommodating. I had originally booked for two nights and he allowed me to cancel the second night with no additional charges. There is a laundry on the facility which I did not use but for families with young children, a bonus feature. Very nice and I would definitely stay there on my next trip to Show Low.

Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. I am a light sleeper and was amazed at how quiet our room was. If you are looking for roomy, comfortable, clean, no frills place to stayI would recommend this hotel. By no frills I mean pool, hot tub, etc. The rooms have everything you need.

The chairs in our room were a pretty worn which took away from the appearance of the room.

Location was good and motel was very quiet. The room was adequate. We appreciated the coffee and breakfast each morning.

The king bed was not stable as they usually are. It bounced like a waterbed whenever one of us moved during sleep. The towels were rough and actually made my face bleed.

Room was very quiet. I thought it was quite clean, too, and for the most part, it was. But then I saw the long hair on the edge of the tub and the carpet was absolutely filthy. The bed was very comfortable and very clean. The central location was convenient to about everything. Manager was very nice -- but never did deliver the "Do Not Disturb" door card we asked for. If you want fancy, don't stay here. But if you want a great sleep in a quiet and fairly clean spot at a reasonable price, this is your place.

I've never seen a motel or hotel room that was as tiny as this room. But, then again, I don't need to run around in such a room, so while the small size was surprising, the room wasn't uncomfortable in any way. The breakfast was the absolute minimum amount of stuff to be called "breakfast." A waffle maker, Fruit Loops and Wheaties, coffee (no tea or hot chocolate), orange juice and cranberry juice, yogurt, and some strange little pastries.

The location was perfect for what we needed. The room was clean and well stocked with personal care items such as soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. The complimentary coffee was really good.

There wasn't anything we didn't like that didn't have to do with personal preference. For example, the decore was not my taste, but it was nice and clean and matched.

This was a well kept up property although older. I chose this place because of reviews.. and pleased that my experience aligned with those. Management was helpful, polite, always present. You can see them on the property frequently and their residence is full of open windows where they can see all of the time, and you can see them. I felt the parking was adequate and safe. The room met my OCD standard of cleanliness. The bed, linens, TV, A/C all good. Few stains on carpet but felt was clean. J would appreciate a towel that's larger than the smaller size but that's all. Good value for what I received but more importantly great service, kind people, safe area.

Liked everything especially management/office team/owner. There's a reason this gets so many great ratings and you feel it the moment you walk in the office. The place and the people who operate it are the very best and way exceeded my expectations.
