Hotel Tempest, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

The location was great! Loved the close Subway, Four Peaks Brewing and Hungry Howie's Pizza. They all had excellent food. The big walk-in shower was a dream! The staff was beyond wonderful and really helpful! Elevator was nice and quick. Dart board in beer garden area was so much fun! Liked the side bench to sit on and watch the pidgeons. Number 62 public bus to Marketplace was terrific! Catch it on Dorsey just half-a-block away.

Would have been nice to have a free breakfast like many other hotels, and an on-sight eating place. Really liked the side yard game and social area idea, but could have been a little better kept up. Corn hole game was very beat up, and there were no bean bags to play it with. Would have been nice to have a microwave in room.

Good location.

Water pressure in shower wasn’t the best; only had one baggage cart, so we carried luggage to our room. we are 76 & 78. We weren’t too happy about that; we waited 15 minutes hoping the one baggage cart would be returned — it wasn’t. Desk person nonchalantly said the ONE other cart was taken by a homeless person. We were out of toilet paper so desk person went to get a roll & upon returning handed me an OPENED roll that had obviously been taken off a dispenser in some bathroom.

Location was good. Room was clean. Decorated nice.

Room was small, there was no closet to hang my clothes up. The shower door wouldn't close on one side, it was as if the floor was at a slant which put the weight of the doors to one side. As a result it caused water to get on the wall and is lifting the wall paper from the bottom. Hotel stated breakfast was available from 6am to 11am. No breakfast was available, thus the reason I picked the hotel. Concierge stated they stop serving breakfast like 4 months ago.

The Tempest Hotel is located at walking distance form the centre of Tempe and the main buildings of the ASU Campus, which can be reached in 5-10 minutes walking.

My room was a bit noisy, due to the sound/vibrations of the external unit of the air conditioning system. The hotel does not offer a breakfast service (which should be kept in mind when choosing it).

Was clean, friendly people, great location and loved the patio and bar

Could use a little work on the outdoor amenities they have in the patio. Connect 4 game was warped, darts were broken for dart board. Corn hole game boards were warped and had no bags, Ping Ping table was broken and had no propane for the heaters and fire place. But it still was a nice place to go out and relax.

that their cafe wasnt open, but no big deal! you are right into the campus, so lots of foodies to pick from!!

Quiet room. Comfortable bed. Very clean room & bathroom.

The little refrigerator/freezer was leaking water. The freezer needed to be defrosted. The water pressure in the shower was not good at all. I let the front desk know when we checked out. I was told, they're under new management & they're working on all the problems. The lighting in the room is very dim.

Well located hotel in Tempe. Walkable distance to ASU.

Hotel has changed ownership from Choice hotels to Wyndham. There is a problem recognising reservations made during previous ownership and check-in was poor unfortunately. You may be accused of not having a booking even prepaid ones like ours.

Love the location. Close to everything! Plus the hotel serves beer on draft until 12am

The room didn't have any ceiling lights and there was no closet or hangers. There was a hole in the wall with wires hanging.

The room was very comfortable.

The counter space in the bathroom was too small. You need better lighting. Maybe some overhead lights.
