Canopy By Hilton Tempe Downtown

the design and colors were great. the vines coming out of the ceiling were super cool. the pool located on the roof was neat. the location was great. the beds were very comfortable.

the things I didn’t enjoy was having to pay for parking and if you didn’t pay for parking and did valet, you have to tip them. the elevators were weird too. having to swipe your card every time. our room was nice but the shower drain was super slow so you would have to stand in water while you showered. there was no fan vent in the bathroom. the bathroom door didn’t close all the way. the cooler in the room for your food wasn’t very cold at all. I wish there had been free breakfast too.

The location was great and all staff were excellent. Bathroom fixtures and towels seem new and sparkling clean. Breakfast was good.

The hotel has got to do something about the barn-style doors on the shower/toilet rooms and between the bathroom and bedroom itself. They do not stay open, they do not stay closed, and they do not afford any privacy. These are lovely rooms for one person, but not really for more. It is nice that the closet/sink/mirror area are separate from the shower/toilet area, but only if the barn-doors worked, which they do not. Another problem is lack of any way to get fresh air into the room from outside.

The decor is very pleasing and makes you feel at home. My 20 something year old daughter loved the decor! The bed was VERY comfortable along with the pillows. The shower was terrific. I liked that you could close off the sink area, shower, and closet from the rest of the room so you wouldn't wake up the other person while getting ready. There is also a small make up mirror that you can move to the bed area to do your make up while the other person uses the shower and toilet area. Nice touch.

The water in Phoenix tastes terrible. A hotel at this level should provide bottle water in the room. They said there was filtered water at the ice dispenser but it didn't improve the taste at all. Perhaps the filter was expired. I would encourage them to spring for a couple 16 oz bottles in the room.

the room is equipped with Nespresso and the layout is very nice, bathroom is completely separate from the room which is good for light sleepers. The shower has two separate heads and great water pressure/temperature. The hotel offered free bikes for guests to use, very fun and practical since so many cool things are nearby. They had great offers such as a drink on them at both of the restaurants. They accommodated us with an early check in and late check out without any extra fees.

The lighting in the entry and bathroom were confusing, I couldn’t figure out which switch lit up which light.

One-night stay but it was really nice. Wonderful reception staff, very clean and modern facilities, free drink coupons for all 3 of our party. Didn't get to try the restaurants/bar but they looked amazing! Very prompt and courteous valet service. Nice to be able to go shortly down the hall for free filtered water. Felt very expensive in a good way while still being pleasant. Pretty quiet for being in the middle of a college town!

The only things I didn't like about the room were the concrete floors, the unusual bathroom door (I believe ours was off the track so it was very clunky and loud), and the coffee machine only made espresso size servings rather than full cups (probably broken). Also a bummer that there was no room service!

The hotel itself was an excellent location for my needs. It's in the heart of ASU and within walking distance of plenty. The room was spacious and had an upbeat, modern decor. The bed was comfortable, had great water pressure, and water was always hot.

I was thrown off upon check-in when the girl at the desk asked me how often I wanted my room serviced. I don't know if that was because of COVID and short-staffed or to save resources or what but I ended up saying one time for a three-night stay when I should have said every day like I really prefer. Additionally, when the room was serviced, it wasn't the greatest job. For example, I cleaned my hairbrush that morning and threw away the tumbleweed of hair in the trash can. That hairball was on the floor when I walked in. How was that missed? It was a giant ball of hair since my hair is past my waist.

location and very nice hotel the beth room very well equipped. Also i like the fact that it was pet friendly and can have my dog and they only collect a deposit just in case and the following day we had the receipt in the email for the original amount without an extra charge for our dog. Honest staff!!

The property was very clean and smelled amazing throughout the hotel . The rooms were very comfortable. And I have to say that every member of their staff had the most friendliest, nicest, and most respectful service that I have received from any other hotel. I was blown away by how much they go above and beyond to make you stay as pleasant as possible. And they let me check out late at 2:00pm! What other hotel do you know would do that? This was an excellent stay and Canopy by Hilton is the best hotel over all that I have been to.

I loved everything about this hotel from the smell when I first walked in to the art work on the wall. The staff was amazing. Their are so many spots to take pictures and the roof top pool with private cabanas were great. The food and frozen margaritas were perfect.

the property was extremely well kept, modern and stylish. the pool was amazing and they set out fresh infused water to drink in the hot sun. The pool bar served amazing drinks and the restaurant food (especially breakfast) was to die for! 10/10 across the board.
