Lantern Light Inn - Romantic Getaway

There was a beautiful view right from the front of our room door (#119). Check in was quick and check out was even quicker. The room was cozy and there was room for all of our stuff. The staff was friendly and we loved that the hotel provided suggestions on their favorite places to eat instead of just listing everything in the area. We got some good suggestions. The public gathering spaces in the back were magical at night. We wished we could have stayed longer to use them though. The location couldn't have been better. We were close to everything including supermarkets and restaurants.

There was a small pergola in our room. While it was beautiful, I hit my head on it when I came out of the bathroom in the dark in the middle of the night. It was my fault though, I should be less clumsy, lol.

A cosy Inn with well-appointed rooms. We had the Sedona Suite so had enough room to have held a party! The furnishings were very comfortable, the beds were comfortable. It was very quiet despite the Inn being very near to the 4-lane 89A. We enjoyed the garden, with its chairs and fire pits. The Inn is within walking distance of a few restaurants. We liked the Golden Goose. We also ate at Steakhouse89, where service was slow and prices were very high. Many hiking/biking trail heads are within short drives of the Inn. We enjoyed the Brins Mesa hike - about 8 miles on the route we took. The red rock scenery is superb.

Coming from the UK, we are inclined to walk to places to get groceries and go out to eat. The Inn is on the edge of Sedona so you need to get in your car to get to a lot of places . Having said that, there is a shuttle bus service, but we had a car so didn't check out the shuttle.

We had such a relaxing stay at Latern Light Inn and it met our expecations. The facility is quiet and cozy and a great location if you want to stay in Sedona but slightly away from the Uptown area where it's so busy. The property is right on the 89A, (Look for the entrance just before the signal light), but once inside you don't really hear or see the traffic. There are some good shops and restaurants in walking distance and just a short drive to all the attractions you want to enjoy while staying in Sedona. The bed was super comfy and the outside deck and courtyard offered a nice extension of the room. It was clean and we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a King bed and although the room was quiant and charming, it was tight. There wasn't a desk or sitting area inside the room and really no storage for luggage.

The grounds are the best part of this property. Just a few steps from your room, there are outdoor areas to lounge/relax with ample furniture. Beautifully landscaped with many trees, plants, water features, benches, swings, and more to make this place a cool quiet retreat. When the string lights are on, it’s magical. We had a Queen room. The decor is lovely, upscale and well maintained. Everything looks fairly new. Touches like crown molding, intricate scrolled screen door, luxury linens and more. Best nights sleep ever!!! And we travel a lot. Quiet and efficient air conditioning, very clean room & bathroom. The red Keurig coffee maker with red cups is so cute! We also received a complimentary bottle of wine - thank you!

The only thing I missed was a small table.

Top notch ambience. Tranquill setting. Just what my wife and I needed. A truly hidden oasis. Voucher for local restaurants. Clean. Whisper quiet air conditioning/heat. Friendly and attentive front desk clerk. Free parking. Bottled water. Keurig, mini fridge w/ freezer, microwave. Free wifi. Many pluses!

Wish we could've stayed longer. We only booked 1 night because of travel plans.

Loved the rooms, I got probably the smallest room on the property and even then it was a great stay. Beautiful garden to read, write, or mingle. Everyone seems in a better mood here with not a single person walking past without saying hello.

The staff member working there seemed semi monotone. Nothing against the guy seems like he may have had a long day but he was very informative.

When we first pulled up we were a little skeptical but once we walk through the archway it was absolutely beautiful. The room was amazing the bed was the most comfortable bed i've ever slept in, it was quiet. Will definitely stay there again if I ever go back

The only thing I did Not like was the early check out ten o'clock is not late enough eleven or twelve would have been much better

very quaint setting. easy to access downtown Sedona but distant enough for a relaxing and quiet retreat. clean and the bed was outstandingly comfortable. would stay here again in a heartbeat.

we had the Mountain View room and while sitting on the patio area you faced the parking lot and the four large trash cans. (the other rooms did not have this view). the room itself was excellent however.

There isn’t enough room to write about all the things we loved at this place. The courtyard is a wonderful place to sit and relax. Everything was kept up beautifully and the swing chairs are extra comfortable. The shower in our room was huge and great shower pressure! This is so rare In hotels and we were indeed impressed.

Everything was so nice. We loved the cozy lush grounds with so many outside sitting areas. Our bed was very comfortable; an absolute must. The staff was extremely helpful and generous providing us with bottled water and a bottle of wine!

Our room was on the small side but with the patio right outside our door, that made up for it. I think some additional shelving in the bathroom would be extremely helpful.
