Angels Inn0

This inn is conveniently located across The Angels Camp Museum and near the gas station. The room was painted in beautiful green, the fridge and microwave, as well as a coffee maker, were doing its job, our car could be parked right outside the window, the hostess gave us free water and a charming smile. The room was clean, the bathtab welcoming, the bedding comfortable, what else do you need for a short stay? We were staying in Angels Camp before venturing into the snow... the price (with the 'mobile booking discount') was very competitive, especially compared to another big brand name hotel in the vicinity, so I preferred to pay to a Mom-and-Pop inn rather than a big corporation and I was rewarded with a wonderful stay!

The shower curtains need to be wider, to make sure that water doesn't leak on the floor. Some warning to other guests not to make noise would help too, as right above us were some little kids who were running like horses until 11 p.m. This was quite annoying and we didn't know what to do in this situation. It would be nice for a hotel owner to be available for situations like this, via mobile or a phone, to ask other guests to be more cautious and kind towards other guests.

This facility has changed ownership, mngmnt since my last disappointing, run down visit. They are busy upgrading a centrally located, comfortable property. The staff are kind and professional. My visit was a week for a local class and I have Zero complaints. Appreciate the staff and facility and I will be staying there again on my next visit!

I had asked for an early check in and was advised to call them the day of arrival. It wasn't possible to call them as we were traveling and had no reception, We had an all day event to attend and didn't want to risk not being able to check in late. We arrived at about 11:00 a.m. and were checked in. They were very accommodating. Thanks !

The TV didn't work, but the management agreed to discount our room for the inconvenience.

Very clean and recently updated. Room was very large with a king size bed. Liked that the tub/shower and toilet were in a room and sink was separate but still sheltered from bedroom area

The door handle for bathroom was broken and was hard to keep door clean. If we were staying another, we would have called to have it fixed.

Price was great location was great for where me and my wife wanted to visit. Staff was nice and easy to deal with. Located right next to a gas station was a plus.

Town closes pretty early it seems like. Bed was a little rough to sleep on but for the price it's not bad.

It was comfortable. Bed, chair very comfy and TV worked perfect. Well lit outside and although it was full it was very quiet. Only issue was long hairs on shower wall, but tub was clean. Nice place for the money

We enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice bed and good air circulation. The hotel was close to many restaurants and the museum. Woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

the front office staff were friendly, the rooms were very clean (shower, beds, ie…) there were extra pillows in the top drawer which were a plus because we usually have three pillows each.

there isn’t anything that I didn’t like. I was pleasantly surprised with it.

Location was fine, on the main drag of Angel's Camp but not near the 'old town' part but still close. Felt safe. If there was a breakfast offered, I did not partake, rarely do. The room was fine for the money. It was clean and modernized enough.

The fact that it had a locked door accessible to the room next door made it easier to hear sometimes loud talking of the residents next to me. I have learned to bring a portable white noise machine which helps to an extent noisy neighbors or cars stopped late in front of my room to unload stuff and slam doors repeatedly like I experienced once in Napa. :-(

The bed is super comfortable. The room was big. I was very pleased that the outside noise we did not hear in our room and we could not hear the noise of the other guest in the rooms next to ours. There was other children there so my daughter had a great time playing with them.
