Super 8 by Wyndham Bakersfield/Central

I absolutely loved the room size it is more than enough room the beds are huge dressers the refrigerator works the microwave worked no problem combinated my pets everything was to our liking complimentary breakfast oatmeal cereal hot chocolate milk orange juice coffee toast chocolate chip muffins the staff is amazing I give it a 10 I would recommend this to anyone they do require $100 deposit which I received back in full as long as you're picking up after yourself you have no problems my stay was great thank you

The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I've slept on in a motel for a very long time. The pillows weren't too hard, soft, thin or thick. They felt like home or a very nice hotel - not the budget place it was. I slept really well. I might have lucked out with the room and so don't know if all the beds are as comfortable. Also the location sure is convenient right off the exit from 99.

The rest of the room was pretty typical for a Super 8 - just OK. Everything did seem to work OK. My biggest complaint was lack of accessible outlets for plugging in a laptop and recharging a phone. The only plug I found by the bed was behind the mattress, which was not only not very accessible, but made it necessary to keep the bed pulled out from the wall. A simple power strip by the nightstand would have made it much nicer. It's a pretty common fix for older rooms, but I guess the management doesn't want to invest the $15-20 per room.

We had to stay for two weeks due to a family emergency and they treated us great. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the motel itself is well maintained. The staff are vigilant and keep the place secure. The pool was well maintained and they serve a nice little grab and go breakfast.

They charge an extra daily fee for pets and $100 refundable deposit which was not disclosed when we booked the room. We ended up paying more than the daily rate that we expected and payed for online.

quiet, clean and nice space to spend a night in Bakersfield! We especially appreciated the table and chairs to lounge in. Room was equipped with a fridge and microwave, the bed was comfy and the room spacious. There is an elevator so you don't have to carry your luggage upstairs

the breakfast that is included consists of some coffee, orange juice, a muffin and some packed oatmeal. There are no freshly made goods. It is nice as a grab and go snack but as an advertised breakfast it could offer more variety. Shower head is attached pretty low which can be uncomfortable, could be a little bit higher

I do like this hotel but one missing is that there no hair dryer in room

The maid come in room to clean up while my personal stuffs in room n I dnt understand why the maid. Come into the room without i not kno which not suppose do that when i'm out sumwhere and also I not expecting that the hotel not respsonible for peoples who have car if anything happen they can't do anything

I had no problem with the place as far as comfort looks cleanliness area staff all but one thing was fine

Well I booked a room with a king bed and I clearly got a full size bed so I would think I should have paid less then once I get to the site I was hit with a deposit fee but it wasn't mentioned on the site when I booked I felt that was strange but just those two things I know I'm supposed to get refunded but I still paid for a king room and got a full size bed 🤔

Location ,price , AC was perfect for 109 temperature

There was a roach/water bug in the bathroom by tub, it smells either they need to put new carpet or shampoo it ,smells closed up and like stale cigarettes,showers are to low for tall people,key cards kept deactivating every day after 12 so i had to keep going to front to get them activated again very annoying

The staff is really nice they it's just they couldn't help that by the time I got there they were out of soap and they ran out of shampoos the next day there was no microwave or fridge as promised but they had the waffle and boiled egg breakfast and the staff was friendly and I like the location and I love that the pool was open and that you had the good hot breakfast while everybody's either you're getting cheated out of the money you paid for breakfast at other places and you don't get nothing once in awhile to give you a dry granola bar and a cup of coffee so this place is pretty damn

The staff was nice it was nice to finally find the upscale hotel with a real breakfast and they were eager and very good at trying to make the best of certain situations and I really applaud the staff they were all wonderful

The front desk staff was excellent! We arrived late, but he was very helpful and got everything taken care right away, even coming over to us as we were unloading to address a slight mistake that was made in the reservation and assuring us it would be credited back. We were very impressed with his honesty, as well as the room and facilities, and would definitely consider staying here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here, The only thing that might have be improved on would be the bathroom. It had some repairs to the walls/ceiling that could have been done a bit better - the repair work was quite obvious and looked like it had been done in a hurry, but other than that, we were very happy with our stay and would stay here again!

The room was really nice and clean and easy to get to due to elevator although the elevator may need a little work think there is a wiring issue because we got on it and I pressed to go to the 1st floor from the third but it took us to the 2nd floor instead but other then that it works great and the service staff was really nice and friendly. Thank you for the experience!
