Comfort Inn Bishop

The breakfast was great. Anything y possably could want. The location was perfect, to be able t walk t get dinner.The best thing I loved about our room,was the layout and spacoiusmess to put all our bags and boxes we had. We were on a camping trip up in Sierra's, and needed t bring in all our gear, to organize. I also loved all the hot water, and decent water preasure in shower.I have food alleregies, and take medication, so we travel w more tote boxes than most people. The bed and pillows were great.It was perfect!( esp compared t the qulity inn, we visited, next in Lone Pine.)

The only thing I didnt like was the coffee machine, I have food allergies, so bring my own coffee, and basket filters,so I can have coffee, while Hubby goes gets his breakfast.He'll bring me back a little bowl of eggs, if anything. I had a reaction, to your coffee. Next time, I'll bring my little travel pot.

Actually I come through Bishop once or twice a year because I just love the Eastern Slop of the Sierras. Bishop is about a little more than half way to my destination. I don’t eat at your breakfast, not because it’s not good but because of the warm apple fritters at Schatt’s bakery. I come from San Diego and check in and usually head up to Mammoth for dinner. Always enjoy my stay at your hotel.

Breakfast was very good. I love the convenience of getting a hot breakfast at the motel. The staff was pleasant.

The room was a little small. I realize it is an older motel and not much could be done about the size. It was clean. It had been redecorated ,I believe, since our stay there several years ago. Probably had 2 full beds originally and now 2 queens. It was sufficient for our family traveling through the area

The only thing is you can hear every big truck's that drive through the town. But the room was very clean lots of shampoo and soap products also coffee pot in your room. Breakfast was great they have so much to choose from waffle machine scrambled eggs and sausage Patty's, fresh juice and so clean. Breakfast is from 6-9 am. The lady's in the front we're very friendly even when I was half asleep they we're both still great. Also check in was a snap the young lady at the front desk at night was also very friendly. I recommend this location.

The sound of big truck's that get stopped at the light they have loud break's.

Check in & out were both easy and smooth, maintenance man helped us figure out the TV, staff overall lovely. Everything was clean and fresh and missed no needed toiletries. Pillows were like clouds - I love hotel pillows. Loved the fact that the AC unit was easy to work, cooled us down quickly! Shower was hot after four days out on the trail! Their no-carpet floors were great because they always feel cleaner than carpet ones. We watched the Halloween Baking show all night. Despite the fact that the channels were limited and seemed to skip around, once we settled on the show, it ran smoothly.

The TV was a bit wonky, but we still enjoyed using the cable because we don't have it and never watch TV. I can see how most TV watchers may be dissatisfied, though! Did not get breakfast because the covid limitations meant the breakfast was in bags. That was definitely a nuisance because the hotel was listed as breakfast included, and a bagged breakfast doesn't really fulfill that!

Very busy season with hotel full the day before so staff stressed, but good turn around by staff. Comfortable relatively quiet room. Good AC and bed.

Booking.com had us for a 2 pm check in. The earliest check in at this hotel is 4 pm. Because staff went out of their way to check us in as earliest as possible we checked in at 230. Even this 30 min delay messed up our afternoon plans.

as our car broke down we ended up spending two nights here. staff were amazing made us feel so welcome went over and above to help. excellent breakfast good choices hot and cold coffee available all day in reception and lovely iced lemon water bed so comfy and quite location

We had a room with two queen beds. The room is very spacious with lots of room to spread out our stuff. The microwave in room is also a welcomed plus. Staff is super friendly. I understand there is a shortage on the workforce but I can see people have been working hard to keep up.

It is a one way entrance and somewhat difficult to get back in if there is not enough parking.

The staff on Sunday morning went above & beyond for me in a stressful time! I locked all identification & phone in the car. After being let down by AAA the staff pointed me in the right direction & the issue was quickly resolved, & at a price much better than AAA offered❣️

Everything was perfect!

I like staying here the staff was very friendly that location was great the rooms were clean. We normally stay at the Creekside in when we go to Bishop every year but this year because of the high cost of the Creekside we decided to try the comfort inn and we are very happy with our decision we will be staying at the comfort inn from now on.

The only downside was the noise from the road. You could hear the large trucks driving through town.
