Travelodge by Wyndham Bishop

Front desk lady was very friendly and was able to find us a room on the bottom floor to accommodate my wife that has trouble with stairs. The room is clean. Appreciate the fridge and microwave. TV was good as well as the heat and AC. Pool was clean but did not use. Like parking right next to room. Location is great, next to anything you need. Breakfast was good, Hot Coffee and Tea, Bagels, Boiled Eggs and Oatmeal. Saved us time stopping for Breakfast. Breakfast room is very pretty with tall ceiling and nice artwork painting on walls. Bathroom is small but works. Would love to have a Jaccuzzi to soak in after a long day of traveling.

I requested a quiet room and it was. Bed was very comfortable and room size was adequate. Was great to have fridge in room. Room amenities were just right (coffee maker, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, etc).

The carpet was badly stained. Can't help bad patrons, but a carpet cleaning is in order. The continental breakfast was not very good. Other than apples, no other fruit (such as bananas) was offered. Bagels, a few hard cooked eggs and yogurt were the only offerings. Could have added bananas, orange juice, toast and butter for example.

It was in a great location and the views were super. Staff were friendly at check in and breakfast. Breakfast was basic but great for what we needed. The room was largecc C with interlinking room which worked well.

The pool was monopolised by one family who took it over so no one else felt able to use it.

we loved this property— the room was clean, had everything we needed including a nice new tub and shower with pipes that drained! nice mini frig, microwave, coffee pot and tv. everything was perfect for our needs. maid Clean room and bed made each day, clean towels.

need a bigger parking lot— we couldn’t stay out at night because there might not be a parking place left on property

The room was clean and staffs were nice. Also, breakfast that they had was good.

It says check in is from 3 pm, so we arrived around that time. But, we had to wait about an hour and a half because room was not ready. Also, wifi was much slower than I expected.

Super nice people at front desk, accommodated us when the highway was closed due to mudslide further south, then stayed an extra day and loved it. Great breakfast, comfy beds, fun swimming pool. Staff/maintenance people seemed very attentive to details.

I liked everything.

Room was very clean, modern upgrades to shower, useful mini frig, area was quiet, TV worked well. Booking and check-in were very easy, there was ample parking, the hotel was located close to restaurants and a fueling station. We requested a second level room and were given one at the end of the building right by the stairs.

Bathroom had just a small amount of toilet paper, there were only two pillows and they were quite thick for our taste, the heater worked well but was quite noisy.

As for breakfast.....I miss out on anything offered. I'm up and out around 10 so there is nothing left. I do like the location whereas I can go north or south and have my fun. My third time here so discovering new places in town to enjoy. The only downside to this particular visit.....I had my dog with me. She passed this month and it's hard. We booked the same room each time.

I went online to book this visit and obviously got a better price than booking directly. This was a six night stay. I asked if I could extend my visit. The answer was yes for a much higher price. Being my third time there I thought I would get the same price as offered online.

We usually stay at an IHG facility but they have gotten too expensive. The Travelodge breakfast was excellent. Holiday Inn Express seems to have decided a packaged sweet roll and a granola bar constitutes a breakfast.

Really, nothing. We were extremely pleased.

The value first if all. Then once getting there the front desk was amazing. Very professional and helpful. Housekeeping was efficient and also helpful. (They helped me with getting ice) Also great coffee in the lobby. They have half and half. Coffee so important. :-) The first time I enjoyed hotel lobby coffee. And we stay in all the best hotels so this says a lot. We were here for a week for Mule Days. Making my reservations to stay again next year.
