Days Inn by Wyndham Bishop

We liked a lot of things. First thing you noticed was the room was CLEAN. The walls were clean. The shower was clean. Next it was a A king suite and it was a good size. The bed/mattress was EXCELLENT. The mattress was so comfortable and the sheets and blankets were comfy and good quality too. The room was quiet. The air conditioner worked very well and kept us cool even though it was over 100 outside. We got a good nights rest. The young man at the front desk was so welcoming and answered questions we had. He was a good company representative. Breakfast was good with yogurt, hard boiled eggs and pastries and coffee and cereal.

The parking lot was small but we didn’t have any problem with our smaller suv. Wish there had been more signage out front saying it was a Days Inn. We missed it driving by.

Blanca is what made my stay at Days Inn in Bishop absolutely wonderful. I was down on my luck going through a difficult time and Blanca was so helpful, patient, and kind to me. She always made sure I was okay and had what I needed. She let me stay in the lobby and use the wifi to make calls and straighten out finances while traveling so I could even book the room with them. She went way above and beyond her job responsibilities to ensure I was doing well. The entire staff was wonderful, minus one, Kaylee. She didn't answer the phone when I called and let it ring about 30 times at 8pm to ask a question. She seemed very annoyed and put out to have to be at work and doing her job and helping people. She seemed much more concerned with her telephone and her visitors and social life than helping the guests. The housekeepers did an excellent job and all the rest of the staff was phenomenal. Thank you for making a weary traveler happy and feeling at home.

The room was clean and comfortable. It even looked like the pictures on their website (travelers. You know what I'm talking about). It was really nice. My only suggestion is that I would put a coffee table in front of the couches that are in the rooms. It was a little awkward with no table trying to ear our dinner)

Needs a coffee table or end tables on either side of the couch.

THE ROOM WE STAYED IN WAS A LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION AND HAD A WHIRLPOOL BATH, SO I DON'T THINK IT WAS ONE OF THEIR "STANDARD" ROOMS. THAT SAID, IT WAS HUGE, LOTS OF SPACE FOR OUR THINGS AND ROOM FOR MORE.

ONLY 2 NEGATIVE THINGS TO MENTION: #1 - THE BED NEEDED A NEW MATTRESS, ONE SIDE WAS OK, THE OTHER SIDE FELT LIKE AN ELEPHANT HAD BEEN SLEEPING ON IT FOR 50 YEARS AND WAS TOTALLY SUNK IN AND GAVE NO SUPPORT OR COMFORT WHATSOEVER. @2 - MORE OF A SAFETY ISSUE THAN SOMETHING I DIDN'T LIKE, THE WHIRLPOOL TUB WAS MISSING THE DRAIN COVER ON THE SUCTION PORT AND BECAUSE THE PORT WAS VERY LARGE IT WOULD ACTUALLY SUCK YOUR SKIN UP AGAINST IT. WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE/BORDERLINE PAINFUL, AND COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR CHILDREN OR SMALLER PEOPLE. WAS OK IF YOU STAYED AWAY FROM IT, BUT IF YOU GOT CLOSE ENOUGH YOU WOULD GET SUCKED UP AGAINST IT.

it’s centrally located, and Wyndham has upgraded the Days Inn with a comfortable accommodations. The shower is great and the beds are comfortable.

this has nothing to do with the hotel, but some of the guest were very noisy after 12 o’clock in the morning

Very friendly staff. Location was good. Bed was comfortable.

Continental breakfast was okay, but a tad more selection would have been nice, i.e. flavored yogurt and other drinks besides just coffee and orange juice.

The pool, breakfast, and location were great! But above all the employee working the front desk, Oscar, was SO friendly, welcoming, helpful and just overall amazing! Couldn’t have asked for better service!

The room wasn’t the cleanest, and it was seemingly overpriced for what it was. Also, I wish I would have known the jacuzzi wasn’t available because it was a huge selling point.

Nice clean room, comfortable bed.Had separate room with couch and desk. Coffee maker, microwave an fridge. Bathtub ,blow dryer an even make up remover towelettes.Plenty of tv and movie channels.

Overnight staff Draco was exceptionally helpful upon check in. The geoundskeeper/maintenance staff Bernabe had found a shoe of mine and he kept it , in case I came back and When I did come back, he presented it to me.

They charged a pet fee of $15 per day which is not posted anywhere in the main lobby nor is it on the reservation sheet at sign in. Its charged afterwards along with a resort fee of $5 per day . There is no breakfast due to this stupid nonissue disruption of life called COVID-19, and the pool is open but filthy and unusable. So what is the resort fee for?

the beds! best beds we’ve ever slept on in an economically based road trip hotel. front desk person had a great attitude and personality.

nothing really. curb appeal could be improved upon.
