Quality Inn & Suites Capitola

All at the highest level. Receptionist kind and attentive. Pool and room are clean, mattresses are comfortable. There are all necessary things; coffee maker, microwave, safe for storing personal belongings, iron with ironing board, hair dryer. I was pleased that the refrigerator and air conditioner work silently. Bed linen and towels of dazzling whiteness. The breakfast had enough variety of food including fruit and yogurt.

Only one lamp, which was in the wardrobe, did not work, but without it, everything was also visible if other lamps were turned on.

I loved the complimentary breakfast waffles and room overall. The bed was really comfy and the bathroom was really spacious. I did appreciate having a much bigger mini fridge to store my food and drinks when I got to the room.

One of the lights was flickering and didn’t function properly. But there was plenty of lamps and the balcony lighting that helped illuminate the room so it worked out fine. Overall it wasn’t a major issue in the room. I don’t really have anything negative to say about the room so I just mentioned this.

I liked everything. The room was very nice and clean and plenty large enough. We didn't use the balcony but it overlooked a nice wooded area. Parking was available close to the room. The location was ok. It was about an 18 minute walk to the beach.

The breakfast was about as basic a continental breakfast as you could get. It wasn't bad, but there just wasn't much selection. The coffee and juice were good.

Pretty much all the units have balconies and they are very clean and spacious the staff was amazing and the food little on the light side but like waffles yogurt no eggs or bacon or anything like that so I guess breakfast could be a little better

I think breakfast could have been a little better maybe some eggs bacon and potatoes and I think taking the time to steam the curtains and the bathroom curtain is a plus

I like the landscaping and the way the property looks. It reminded me of staying in an apartment. I love the color yellow very uplifting 💛. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Great customer service. Plenty of parking and quiet. We were able to check out a little later with no extra charge 😉 I would stay again.

II didn't like that we had to walk up to the 2nd level with luggage and other bags due to no elevator on the property. We were both way over 50 and they should have this on the booking page. No elevator. The staff stated he would have given us a room on the lower level if he had the availability. He stated in the special accommodations area is where that is usually specified. I told him it's no problem but in most hotels an elevator is usually available and I have never requested a lower level room based on an elevator being on the premises. For emergency reasons you should have stairs and an elevator.

I love the location of this property. it is near the freeway but there is a buffer of trees around it with a large grassy area in front of it. Being able to step out on one’s private patio and see redwoods and sky is special. The rooms are designed in such a way that you don’t feel crammed in. The nicely landscaped grounds around the different clusters of buildings adds to the esthetics. Tne room was good sized and had everything I needed included a comfortable chair to sit in. It is a 20 minute walk to the beach and ten to Gayle’s. There is a Peet’s nearby.

There is freeway noise but I could deal with it.

The gentlemen when we checked in was especially friendly and helpful when asked for restaurant options. Unfortunately, we tried Gayle's Bakery but the wait was too long. We'll try another time. We had rooms that were next door to each other, which was handy because my grandsons were in the next room. Breakfast options were good. Pool was closed for the season but it looked inviting.

It would have been nice to use the adjoining doors to our rooms, but ours was blocked by the refrigerator Odd that coffee was not available in the breakfast area

charm, quiet, spacious room and cleanliness. They also have a wonderful grab and go breakfast. I was worried about the room being quite enough since it’s close to the freeway, so I asked for a quiet room. That room was so quiet and lovely I really got a great nights sleep. I am planning on staying here next year for the same annual event.

It was a little further from the village of Capitola than I hoped for (wanted walking.) it was only a few minutes drive to the Village. it is conveniently located to many Amenities and close to the freeway for easy access if you’re planning to go to Santa Cruz or Monterey.

Parking area was well lite and plenty of room for our trailer. Breakfast was good. Large size refrigerator was appreciated. Front desk Staff was great. Very helpful.

Coffee quality in room was not that good. With so many good coffee options out there. Shower needs better slip bumps on shower floor. Microwave door can not be opened - hits cabinet edge. Room 305.

Always very friendly people at the front desk. Nice to have an actual breakfast room with great waffles. Quiet and peaceful. Larger trash baskets useful when their is no clean up staff.

sink in bathroom backed up one night. Room is looking a little worn and tired. No shower bath mat in room when I arrived.
