Seacliff Inn Aptos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

This is a very nice motel-type place to stay in Aptos. Location is really the only minus. If you are going to Aptos to enjoy the beach, this place doesn't really make you feel like you are there. It is right off highway, so convenient, but not scenic. But the room design was nice, everything seemed clean and quiet, and the communal spaces seemed inviting. Parking was easy, close to rooms. Evidently there is a lavish brunch on Sunday mornings, but we didn't do that.

Ask for a second floor room if you can handle stairs. At first they put us on the ground floor--which means windows/patio to the parking lot. But they changed the room when we asked for an upper room, and it at least gave you some of the view of surrounding hills.

charging $10 per night to park in the hotel parking lot is ridiculous and annoying added expense. Needing 24 hour notice to request full room service …suppose you spill something on your bed…I can understand special request for full room service, but not with 24 hour notice.

enjoyed the garden patio, I liked the chair set that is there to enjoy during the mornings.

I don’t like the amount of dogs that are in the property- I would like to have rooms that are specifically for no pets. allergies and smell bother my spouse. too many patrons take their pets into their rooms. walls were somewhat thin and a little noisy.

The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly. The restaurant served good food and drinks. Weekends have bands and dancing. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

The ducks swam in the pool, and I saw them poop in it. The safe did not work. No microwave in the room.

great location, excellent facility, excellent staff. arrived at 3 pm, staff immediately got me into the roof i intended to stay in (double queen). excellent dinner on site, with amazing host and server (we were the only ones who wanted outdoor dining, and staff did an excellent job of making that happen). rates were exceptionally reasonable for the accommodations provided. I'm ready to go again.

The setup of the hotel is beautiful. Lovely garden and terrace. The restaurant looks modern and homely. The bed was comfy. Breakfast and coffee great, a lot of healthy options.

There is not much to do in the direct vicinity of the hotel (there is a supermarket). The room I was in was noisy. I woke up from my neighbor's music and alarm clock.

comfortable bed, very clean and mostly updated. I see the hotel is undergoing improvements. very cute boutique hotel and perfect location. I could not hear any traffic from highway.

the heater was very loud when it came on and disturbed our sleep each time. I understand you are updating things. I know that is expensive, but a must as soon as possible.

The grounds are beautiful and are well maintained. I felt like I was in a tropical paradise. The room was nice and the mini fridge a nice bonus.

It would be nice to have a map of the grounds for use. We only had one problem during our stay, the check in process. They didn't seem to have a way to verify my booking.com confirmation number. The check in took at least 15 minutes but the staff was pleasant during the process

The grounds are beautiful. Pool area is perfect. Everything is clean. Live music every night at the restaurant. Staff incredibly friendly.

We had 3 rooms for 3 nights. Two of the rooms were located on the second floor. One room was in a different building on the ground floor. We were right next to the restaurant and water feature so sitting on patio was awesome. However, our entrance was right across from the laundry room and at 6:45am each morning we were awoken by doors slamming, employees yelling, high traffic and loud noises. It literally sounded like they were IN our room at times. Very annoying. Not restful or relaxing in the slightest.

Room was close to the pool per request. Quiet and clean. Beautiful grounds. Nice stay!

Timers on lights in room. Tried to read a book and bedside light kept shutting off every 10 minutes or so. Had to wave my hand each time to turn it on when I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom the bedside lamp would not turn on. Had to use flashlight on cell phone.
