Best Western Americana

Breakfast was good. Would like to have variety between link sausage. Could rotate one day with bacon or small ham steaks. Need tool for splitting English muffins or bagels. Bagels would have been a nice item to add the rotation also. Found bed to comfortable & slept well. Didn't have people hollering & banging on the doors in the hallway.

Low water pressure for 2nd floor shower. The toilet leaked water. Needed flapper valve replaced.

Yummy breakfast, a nice pool, and a very friendly and helpful manager (also our fellow guests from Italy) who offered great advice on where to enter the Sequoia National Park (the Big Stump entrance, not the Foothills entrance). Although either entrance requires an equal amount of travel from our hotel, it's better to exit at the Foothills entrance because that is where you'll find some eateries after your day at the Park. If you are looking for more dining options, after you exit the Park, continue your drive to the city of Visalia. The housekeeping staff seemed happy about their job, apparently because their manager empowers them to manage their own time, as long as they get the job done and to the guests' satisfaction. Keep it up upkeeper!

Everything was perfect! Personnel was very kind, communication was great, the swimming pool outside was perfect to relax, very clean, breakfast had a very good variety of hot food (sausages, scrambled eggs, potatoes, waffles) and pastries, fruit, cereals. The room was cleaned everyday of our stay, so glad to find a hotel that does this again since the pandemics!! The surrounding area is quiet and has a nice park to play with kids. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Thank you so much!!

A bit far from Sequoia Park and Kings Canyon (>1 h driving), so just take this into account for your day trip!

I like the receptionist, he was very friendly and even when I bugged him a little he never lost his smile, he was very happy to help, the location is also a great part of the hotel since is on a very busy road and aside from that our room was also very quiet. Also having that location you will find other places around. Over all I'm very happy with my stay here. I will definitely come back.

The vending machines could maybe be upgraded to also take cards? Please?

The location was w/in a very reasonable distance of where the memorial service was held the day after I had checked in to the hotel.

The phone did not work @ all when there were toilet problems in the middle of the nite so I had to call another Best Western facility to get a plunger brought to the room. The staff member didn't really know how to use a plunger very well, so I had to fix the toilet myself w/the plunger.

Breakfast was great and the owner was very nice. The beds were firm and the best part was finding the hotel was very easy because it is lit up in blue at night. I love the fact that we had a microwave and mini fridge in our room. It was the perfect place to stay for us to enjoy attending my cousins wedding.

The shower took a while to get the water going and our toilet needed to be fixed because it was running, but besides those things everything was working just fine. It really did not bother us much.

Friendly staff. Very quiet rooms, great job on soundproofing the walls. Despite there is a busy road nearby, you can sleep without noise. This is a huge plus for those who want to rest and relax after a long drive. The room with two queen beds was comfortable for three people.

I think more tables for the breakfast area would help. We ate in our room because all three tables were occupied.

The manager was very polite as well worked very hard to insure our stay was amazing which I’m sure he does for all his guests. The pool was clean, the rooms were amazing it was all around a good stay neither my kids or I wanted to leave.

Nothing really comes to mind on what didn’t I like. The location was perfect, the hotel and staff was amazing honestly it is a place I would book if I ever need to stay in the area again

Rooms were awesome, nice, and big, very clean beds were comfortable Breakfast was great they had a full hot breakfast 😋 The staff was great

Pool was closed so kids couldn't enjoy swimming like they wanted to being there 3 days pool would of been great to entertain everyone especially kids

Everything the clean smell of the blankets was my favorite I didn't suffer from allergies at night like I normally would in any other hotel.

We had my in-laws in one room and my sister in law and her wife decided to come with us so we asked if they had a room with two beds and they did but they charged us for the upgrade of the room and for two additional people I think this was not nice at all but what can we do.
